I'm introducing a new topic, known as "Your inheritance" which came as word of promise from God. Before I start writing on this topic, I acknowledge that I believe in the divine inspiration that emanates from the Holy Bible, the Scripture of Truth. I accept it as the truth, meaning that it is a completely reliable source of assurance that our inheritance is fully guaranteed. More below!
Reference: Galatians 3:18 New International Version (NIV)
"For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise."
The above versified reference, "For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God freely granted it to Abraham through a promise" is too deep, because it calls forth God's grace into action and exercise, and positions us properly for all of God's gifts bestowed on us in Christ, including all the blessings and inheritance of our salvation in Christ Jesus. So this topic leads us more to the full knowledge of the glorious Gospel, and carries on the work of divine grace in our lives.
Now as I expound the topic by the grace of God, let us listen to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and His witness in our hearts and spirits. Then let us accept the exposition by faith, and activate it in our lives by yielding to the full ministry of the Holy Spirit because Ephesians 1:14 explains that, "The Spirit is God's guarantee that He will give us the inheritance He promised and that He has purchased us to be His own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify Him" (NLT).
The Holy Spirit is the pledge or guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire the full possession of it. So we have been marked in Christ with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, and we have a divine locus to our seal that God's promise of inheritance is true. He represents the Father as the only One who completely, and entirely, and perfectly guarantees and manifests our inheritance in all its fullness.
This shows us how the presence of the Holy Spirit is instrumental in the fulfilment of the promises of Abraham in Christ. Of course, the Holy Spirit came to us permanently through Abraham's descendant, Christ, and that is, the new covenant with God, in which Christ and the Spirit symbolize the mediator, not the law, meaning that our inheritance is not dependent on the law, but on the utter fullness of God's Spirit, who is the evinced or expressed manifestation of God on earth in this present age. Stay tuned for the successive series of this wonderful topic. Shalom!
