YOU ARE A DIVINE DECISION

Did you know that your existence is not by fate, chance, or coincidence? You are alive at this present moment because God designed it to be and so He went ahead to form you in your mother's womb at the time of your birth! Beloved, you are a divine plan, divine intention and divine decision. In other words, when God was deciding all that was going to happen in this present age, He included and factorized you in that decision. In advance, He made a well detailed preparation and arrangement for your arrival and existence.

Reference: Acts 17:26-27 English Standard Version Anglicised (ESVUK) 'And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place.'

From the natural standpoint, God made from one man, all the nations we see today that they should inhabit the whole earth. He also marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. We have so many points to grasp from this very verse. First point: God made every nation of mankind that exists in the world today, just from one man. The Second point is that He pronounced blessing on mankind to be fruitful and dwell in all the face of the earth. The third point is that He determined their allotted periods or times in history. And the fourth, He set the boundaries of their dwelling place. Simply put, you don't exist by mistake and you were not born outside a divine plan and purpose.

Let's examine the listed points: First point: God made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth. The first man was Adam and from Adam, every other man in the history of creation emerged. Today we have almost 200 nations in the world, yet the existence of these nations and everyone in them were all planned and structured by Almighty God. In other words, God determined the physical structure and environment of every man born into this world, and also their tribe, race, condition and mode of life, according to Isaiah 45:18 (NLT). Where you were born, the condition of that place during your birth and the tribe or race did not happen by chance. They were all divinely orchestrated.

Second point: God spread mankind upon the surface of the earth. Genesis 1:27-28 (NLT) reads, 'So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Then God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it..."' God actually gave mankind the instruction or command to spread upon the earth and govern it. This happened right from the beginning of creation, when He created man in His own image.

Third point: God determined every man's allotted periods or times in history. That's the reason you were born at such a time as this. Have you ever asked yourself this question? "How come I didn't exist in the eighteenth century? Why was I born in the twenty - first century? If you consider these questions, it's because God purposefully scheduled the moment and time of your birth. You are not a mistake and you didn't come by chance. God saw you before you were born. He knew you were coming even before your mother conceived you in the womb. In fact, He formed you in your mother's womb. Psalm 139:13 (ESV) says, 'For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.' Also in Jeremiah 1:5, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah saying, 'I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart...' This doesn't just apply to Jeremiah, it is also true for each one of us.

Fourth point: God set and allotted the boundaries of your dwelling place or geographical location. You didn't plan to arrive where you were born. God did. He did not just determine the colour of your skin, your hair, and every other feature, He deliberately installed you within the custom-made place of your nativity. God planned where you'd be born and where you'd live for His purpose. He designed the environment of your location just for you, so you could live in it enjoyably. Why did God plan for you this much? Its because you are the main focus of His love; the most-prized possession of all His creation.

Beloved, you are not an accident and your birth was never by chance. In fact, God was expecting you to arrive at the appropriate time because long before you were conceived by your parents, you were already conceived in His mind for His purpose. Hallelujah!

Guided Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for revealing to me in your Word that nothing in my life is by chance. All things connected to me are designed by predestination for your purpose to be fulfilled in my life. For this reason, I function on earth as the special object of your love and my life is specially built and constantly shaped in accordance with this truth. My steps are always ordered by your Spirit to be at the right places, at the right time, and to fit into your perfect plan at all times. Hence, I live daily within the boundaries of your perfect will, with an exact awareness of your time, place and purpose for my existence, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
