WORD STUDY: THE PRAYERS OF THE SAINTS ARE ETERNAL MEMORIAL TO GOD

Revelation 8:2-4 (ESV) reads, "And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God's people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God's people, went up before God from the angel's hand."

Like Apostle Paul would pen down, (I, not the Lord) to show its not from the Lord who is the Spirit, in the same attitude and reasoning, I so much believe that the incense was supplied by the 24 elders who hold the golden bowls in Revelation 5:8 (NIV). However we know in part; when we get to heaven we shall know in full.

1 Corinthians 13:9 (NIV): Paul says,

'For we know in part and we prophesy in part.'

1 Corinthians 13:9 (NLT):

'Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture!'

So many questions come to mind which I don't receive answers to all immediately. Some answers come later after giving myself to prayer and the Word. Some at the middle of the night. The ones that don't come at all, heaven will reveal them when we get there.

Deuteronomy 29:29 (NIV)

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law. Shalom!
