Reference: Deuteronomy 10:15 New King James Version (NKJV)

"The LORD delighted only in your fathers, to love them; and He chose their descendants after them, you above all peoples, as it is this day."

Another stage of distinction of divine power in accordance with our versified reference is:

"He chose their descendants after them": CHOICEST TREASURE

The effects of God's delight in our fathers had modes of development, and this segment is analytically viewed or construed as a crucial part of divine election, decoding how the Lord perceives the fathers' offsprings. Of all the people on earth, the LORD our God has chosen the fathers' offsprings to be his own special treasure, and so He cherishes them as His most loved possession. Hence, choosing their descendants after them is characterized by the pleasing combination of His delight and loving kindness. To that effect, Deuteronomy 7:6-8 reads:

"For you are a holy people, who belong to the LORD your God. Of all the people on earth, the LORD your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure. The LORD did not set His heart on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other nations, for you were the smallest of all nations! Rather, it was simply that the LORD loves you, and He was keeping the oath He had sworn to your ancestors. That is why the LORD rescued you with such a strong hand from your slavery and from the oppressive hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt" (NLT).

When we consider the descendants of the patriarchs as being God's choicest treasure, we must acknowledge that it was never by reason of the magnitude of their populace or an admiration for their popularity, fame or any other achievements, but rather, it was on account of God's love which prompted Him to treasure them as His special, peculiar and holy nation.

From a greater dimension of God's love and acceptance, we, the holy saints in the natural world today, have become His most prized possession, and being God's choicest treasure was ordained for us in His foreknowledge, which at the fullness of time, led to His redemptive plan, through the coming of the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. To that effect, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Romans 8:29-30 reads:

"For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And having called them, He gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, He gave them His glory" (NLT).

Isn't it amazing that God knew me in advance, and specially picked me out of the entire world [as extraordinary being], above all nations [superiority-enabled], to be His chosen race, a priestly royalty, a peculiar Pastor, and the most holy saint on earth? The Lord didn't just set His delight and affection on me, He passionately loves me, and remarkably chose me in Christ Jesus, not based on my meritorious conduct or laudable performance or self righteousness, but based on His loving-kindliness rooted in the purpose of His gracious perfect will.

As a picked candidate of God's love with great importance and as the most holy saint on earth, I can't fully imagine how powerful or how wonderful or how euphoric or how supremely blessed or how precious I consider myself within right now and oftentimes, but my plan is to explode with joyous paean full of high-quality encomium to God and continually adore Him for His faithfulness and His profound nature of commitment to His inspired delight in me as His sovereign choice, even among a multitude of the Patriarchs' descendants.

To my Gracious Loving Father in heaven, I am truly grateful. Stay tuned for part 9. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Deuteronomy 14:2; John 15:16; Ephesians 1:4-5; 1 Peter 2:9.

Exuberant Declaration:

As a chosen and righteous personality in God's sight, I function as the most powerful saint in Christ Jesus and as a superior god in my world, on account of God's great delight in me and uncommon love for me. Blessed be God!
