I'm introducing a new topic, namely, "THAT WHICH CAN BUILD YOU UP". More below!

Reference: Acts 20:32 New Living Translation (NLT)
“And now I entrust you to God and the message of His grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those He has set apart for Himself."
Beloved, as a born again Christian, God has set you apart for Himself, meaning that you are different from the rest of the world. And to ensure that you don't live an ordinary life, He made available to you, the message of His grace. When you take the message seriously, you can be built up by it, and the gracious influence it exerts will not only become apparent as rewarding outcomes, but also, will make your life extraordinary, enabling you to influence your world, share and gain an inheritance with the saints, as well as make a tremendous change in your own life.
The Bible contains the message of His grace which is our life manual. Study the manual first, to avoid damaging the device. In other words, if you want to live a wonderful and successful Christian life, you can't ignore the Scriptures. If you consider studying and cogitating on the Scriptures, as a trifling and inappreciable endeavour, such purposeful negligible inclination can have a severely detrimental effect on you. Now this is the right attitudinal response towards indulging in Scriptures, which the Psalmist noted:
"I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.
I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.
I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word" (Psalm 119:14-16 NIV).
The Psalmist could not afford to neglect the Word, instead he allowed the Word of God to rule his spirit and dominate the mental region of his earthen vessel, by exercising deliberate delight in it. As for you, you are called to do the same, and let it be your standard for living. Therefore, refuse to live by your own standard but by God's standard.
To be constantly awakened by the Spirit of truth - is a progressive divine programming rooted in being built up by the Word or message of His grace, because you are opening your spirit to the wisdom of God, which is His coded perfections and virtuous perspective, meaning that the Spirit of wisdom is at work. As you cogitate on the Word of God with ardent alacrity, which involves the habitual exuberant declaration of the Scriptures, by personalizing, rehearsing and speaking them forth, they will surely become one with your spirit, because you have arrived at that point of rumination where the Scriptures have begun to permeate your thought pattern and influence your mental faculty.
As you remain consistent with the building up, you will consciously realise that the Word can easily become a "Rhema" in your mouth. Even in your dreams, you find yourself verbalising the Word. Now, you are confident that the Word can direct your steps and control your path because it hugely works in you. To that effect, the Psalmist analytically stated: "The word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105 NLT). Beloved, before the Word became a lamp that guided his feet and a light for his path, there was a process of delightful cogitation and continual establishment of the embedded truths within his inwards. Are you with me? It didn't just happen.
That's exactly what transpires when you have the message of His grace richly established in you. Yes, you'll begin to walk in the light of it. Stay tuned for part 2. Shalom!
Scripture Reading - John 15:4-5; 1 Corinthians 3:9; Ephesians 3:16-17; Colossians 2:6-7.
Guided Prayer:
Heavenly Father, your Word introduces the outcomes of divine wisdom in my life and world, as I meet, interact and mingle with the manifest presence and cognizance of eternal truths embedded in it, by constant cogitation with ardent alacrity. I'm often grateful that whenever this profound and wonderful wisdom is contemplated by my humble self, my life is highly transformed and my all-round blessings rapidly become evident, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
