SUPERLATIVE POSSIBILITIES  - PART 5

TUESDAY 27 AUGUST 2024

We can learn to locate and use the proof of Superlative possibilities which only originates from Scriptures because the Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for this sort of teaching, so we can be thoroughly equipped to receive the best from God. More below!

Reference: Matthew 19:26 New International Version (NIV)

'Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."'

Superlative possibilities in Christ include eternal life, prosperity, eternal peace, divine health, long life on earth, and the wealth and riches of God's glory such as: spiritual gifts, spiritual wisdom and understanding, and all the spiritual blessings - bestowed on the saints in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. And with God, all of them are possible in our lives.

By the grace of God, we can appropriate them into our lives by embracing the ministry of the Word and the Spirit, meaning that their impossibility is a conditional one, since it can be overstepped by exercising one's faith in the finished works of Christ and all the blessings of the new covenant.

As a trinitarian Christian, the work of divine presence in your life, especially the enabling influence of the Holy Spirit, emanates from your disciplined understanding and application of the Word. So when you come across any possibility in the Scriptures, be it a promised inheritance or a divine principle waiting to be actioned, embrace the specific concept of such light through a Biblical study time - which involves the cogitative application of such divine wisdom and understanding and your actioning response.

For instance, if you are believing God for a superlative possibility such as a "business contract" open door, and you locate a Scripture that guarantees the open door, while interpreting the meaning of such Scripture, you need to engage the influence of the Holy Spirit, in order to comprehend the entirety of insight embedded in the Scripture. Let's assume that you need the key of David to open a door of business opportunity, and you choose Revelation 3:7-8 which reads:

"To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of Him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name" (NIV).

Now why do you need the work and influence of the Spirit to properly grasp, digest and activate the above versified passage in your personal life? His influence enforces divinely-inspired guidance into any Scripture study and its alacritous cogitation, enabling you to approach and assimilate it with an enlightened mind and spirit. Remember that the Bible says, "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth..." (John 16:13 NIV). This very Scripture is the Lord's significant statement which fundamentally emphasizes the belief that God's Word, when understood precisely - by the illuminating intensity and guiding influence of the Spirit, makes the possibilities the Scriptures provide clearer, and brings assured direction and conclusive undeniable results to any impossibility or uncertain situation. Stay tuned for part 6. Shalom!
