SHELTERED AND MODULATED BY GOD'S FAVOUR - PART 1
TUESDAY 02 JANUARY 2024
A man who fears the Lord is a blessed and highly favoured person, because his life is deluged by heavenly influences, such as unspeakable joy and omnipresent favour. However, as an individual, there should be an awareness or self-revelation of God's favour upon your life that longs and reaches for the best of divine blessings in Christ. Let's find out more!

Reference: Psalm 128:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
"A Song of Ascents. Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours."
As recorded in (NIV) translation, this Psalm is a song of Ascents, which implies the instance of rising or moving up in a progressive manner. In other words, it's a praise to acknowledge the godly (plus his godly practice), which positions him to enjoy a life of upward and forward course, under the effects, influence or operation of divine presence.
Indeed, happy and blessed are everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways. Again, in (AMP) version, it reads, "A Song of Ascents. Blessed [happy and sheltered by God's favor] is everyone who fears the LORD [and worships Him with obedience], Who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments." From this very translation, I crafted the topic - Sheltered by God's favour. To be blessed is to be sheltered and modulated by God's favour. The Greek Grammar for "blessed" is "makarios" or "makaroioi" (plural), and it was mainly used in the Beatitudes, which is a significant aspect of Christ's teachings.
The fear of the Lord intensifies the blessing of the godly and this fear is the functioning influence of the Spirit of God in a man's life, because he has acknowledged and delighted in it. According to Isaiah 11:2 (NLT), it says, "And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.
Now watch this: The next verse, (that is, verse 3) says, "And he will delight in the fear of the LORD." Got it? Christ Himself delighted in the Spirit of the fear of the Lord. And for this reason, He activated and functioned by it, when He walked the earth. Simply put, the Spirit of God is behind the expression of the fear of the Lord, and to activate this fear, you must acknowledge the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life, who will empower you to function accordingly, or with regard to such expression.
As the righteous, you are extremely blessed and highly favoured, and the result of the fear of God in your life is that you will eat the fruit of your labour; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Zero wonder Proverbs 10:6 reads, "Blessings crown the head of the righteous..." (NIV). In a nutshell, the blessed are joyful people; their fields will produce; it is well with them and all will usually go well with and for them, come what may. Stay tuned for part 2. Shalom!

Gracious Father, your blessings and prosperity are for those that fear you. The voice of your approval and acceptance is continually replayed within my mental space and faculty, thereby positioning me for uncommon supernatural progress. I therefore, thank you for tripling the beneficial results of your omnipresent favour in my life and world because you delight in me, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
