QUESTION 1
Faith is a lifestyle; its not risk taking.
Risk is the possibility of something bad happening. Risk involves uncertainty about the effects/implications of an activity with respect to something that humans value, often focusing on negative and undesirable consequences.
Faith is not risk taking because it is based on something - a solid truth. Its not based on uncertainty. For instance, Abraham did not take risk to sacrifice His son. He was moved to action by what he heard. He heard from God and its was based on what He heard, which is called - the truth.
Everything that comes out of the mouth of God is truth. Whenever you act on a truth, that's faith. Its not uncertainty. If you are uncertain about what you did, then it becomes risk and it cannot be factored into the equation as faith. Faith always prevails because its a substance or an evidence (Hebrews 11:1). Risk is not a substance or an evidence. Risk is based on uncertainty.
If faith is risking taking, the Scriptures that say that the righteous shall live by faith (Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38) will means that the righteous shall live by risk taking. This also suggests that the righteous lives everyday by taking risk.
The just shall live by faith simply means that you shall live by acting on the Word of God or living in accordance with the Word - which is the living truth.
