PREFERENCE - PART 10

This article is the final part of this topic, and I know you have been blessed by the expository knowledge based on Daniel's significance inspired by God's Spirit in the realm of preferment encounters.

"In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king consulted them, he found them ten times better than all the [learned] magicians and enchanters (Magi) in his whole realm."

The third person of the Holy Trinity is of paramount importance in our Christian life because He is the force of excellence and guidance. Personally, I define Him as God's essential and extended being prevailing in the lives of born again Christians in this present age. After you have received the Holy Spirit, He will begin to inspire and guide you into all divine truth, which also means that you can tap into His vast networkings and manners of operation, and one of them is excellence. It is a mystery exerted by the Holy Spirit within the eventualities and experiences of those Christians who are conscious of it, in their loving devotion to God.

Just like it is written in James 1:5, which reads, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you" (NIV), you can also ask God to grant you the Spirit of excellence based on the knowledge of His Word. In doing so, the Spirit of God becomes your vocal expression in words of excellent thoughts; He will also programme, communicate and bring excellence into play in your life through your spirit. That's how the light of excellence penetrates your human spirit, bearing in mind that your spirit is the light-gathering device that receives spiritual realities, when guided by God.

Even in dark moments, there will be extraordinary beauty, sustainable truth, clear guidance and illuminating impact available from the Holy Spirit because He has empowered you to function with an excellent spirit, just like Daniel. So when you are conscious of functioning excellently, your spirit knows this coding and will always seek to receive the signals of excellence from the Holy Spirit - to the degree that you align yourself with His guidance. This is why we read that after Daniel pleaded for mercy from the God of heaven concerning the disclosure of the mystery behind King Nebuchadnezzar's dream, in that same night, the same mystery was revealed to him in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven, acknowledging that He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning, which was a function of his aligning consciousness.

So your spirit must evolve to a glorious level of cognizance or awareness, in relation to functioning in excellence, and once it does, it becomes quite easy for you to openly receive such light from the divine agency (Spirit of God), and then, manifest accordingly by sharing it with others, through the lens of operable insight into desired reality as the occasion calls for. In so doing, people in your world will identify with the operation or effect of experiencing supernatural excellence in their human affairs. A marvellous Scripture numbered as Philippians 4:8 reads, "And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honourable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise" (NLT). When apostle Paul made the versified statement, he meant that the saints should cultivate an excellent spirit, by such reasoning and attitude.

In conclusion, I urge you as a Christian to always bear in mind that Satan is a defeated foe, and for this reason, all born again Christians should put their complete trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Captain of their salvation, and stay far from indulging in contrary or devilish practices, such as enchantment, divination, witchcraft, wizardry, magical activity, plus its incantation, necromancy and the likes of them. God is awesome, and all good and perfect gifts proceed from Him. Every beauty originates in Him, including an excellent spirit, which is the extraordinary expression of supreme thoughts and applaudable manifestations through my life. Praise God!
