PEACEFUL LEADING - PART 9

Reference: Isaiah 63:14 New Living Translation (NLT)

"As with cattle going down into a peaceful valley, the Spirit of the LORD gave them rest. You led your people, LORD, and gained a magnificent reputation."

The Lord God is great in counsel and mighty in deed; He led His people, and gained a magnificent reputation.

Beloved, you must gain the understanding that God's leadership brand is not optional for a born again Christian. It is inescapable and imperative, because the Spirit of God is responsible for producing the force of divine guidance and direction which is intelligible to our Christian faith.

Proverbial edition of Solomonic wisdom numbered as Proverbs 3:5-6 reads:

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take" (NLT).

Few are wise with "the wisdom of trusting God." Few understand that they must not depend on their own understanding, because to be self or worldly-wise is to possess and manifest the adaptive capacity, conducive to Adamic nature.

This is why those functioning by sensory observation alone, or call it the worldly-wise of this generation - are too doubtful and too volitional or too wise in their own eyes - to trust in the LORD with all their heart, yet mankind has no power in himself to excel spiritually, by his own limited understanding. Unsurprisingly, the wise after this world despise trust in God, and some also count or consider the Cross of Christ as foolishness.

I am particularly fixed in admiration at the amazing wisdom of God, transmitting through His leadership strategies. His leading encase reveals His ways which include His ordering for us, and His eternal wisdom showing us the right path of life, which in turn, leads to fulfilling His purpose and perfect will. This divine leading is summed up as all of God's commandments, precepts, counsels, the entirety of His moral law, as well as His specific plan and purpose for each one of us. Shalom!
