NO EXCUSE FOR REJECTING GOD

The truthfulness or credibility of God's existence, along with His life-giving power and nature, has been manifested in the world and in all He created. God is forever real. What is made known about Him in His entire creation is plain to us, simply because God has made it plain to us. No arguments!

Reference: Romans 1:20 English Standard Version (ESV) "For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse."

Beloved, the basic or general reality of the Godhead is not hidden to the human eyes. If you open your eyes and look around you, there will be no sufficient reason to doubt that God is real. By taking a long and thoughtful look at creation or everything God has made, every reasonable person can truly believe with all in them that a Creator made what they see. Even creation itself testifies to this truth that God exists.

For instance, King David in Psalm 19:1-3 (NCV) says: "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the skies announce what his hands have made. Day after day they tell the story; night after night they tell it again. They have no speech or words; they have no voice to be heard. But their message goes out through all the world; their words go everywhere on earth..." Indeed creation bears witness that there is a Creator and we can witness their noiseless announcements and story day after day, and night after night and also by observing the pattern in which they are being regulated.

God's invisible attributes, such as, His eternal power and divine nature, can always be clearly perceived in the things that have been made or created, and its been so, ever since the creation of the world. His eternal power and supreme authority weild enormous influence over all things both in time and eternity, while His divine nature points to the mystery of His divine being or Deity. They are all part of His revelation as possessing omnipotent sovereignty and ability. So nobody has a good excuse to reject God or deny His existence.

Ignoring God leads to a downward pit-like hollow. Denying God is like trying to put a shroud or blanket over the truth. Yet there are people who deny God and its unbelievable that they live without God and even boast about it publicly. However, Romans 1:18 (KJV) tells us that the wrath of God is continually revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

The Scripture says, "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 NKJV). Although God is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, His angry displeasure can still erupt as acts of human mistrust, neglect and wrongdoing accumulate.

Therefore, those who do not care about God and deal unrighteously before Him, and also try to suppress the truth about Him, will surely be condemned to suffer the inevitable and eternal consequences. The only way out is to turn away from their wicked ways, repent of their sins and receive God's saving grace through the salvation Christ has made available - by His perfect sacrifice on the cross. And to receive Christ as Lord, below is prayer of salvation. Shalom!

Guided Prayer: Gracious Father, I know you are merciful and you provide your bountiful grace and mercy to those who forsake their sinful ways and turn to you. You are a good God that extends grace to all who embrace you as the true living God. Therefore, I acknowledge today that you demonstrated your unconditional love for me in this: While living without Christ, you sent Him ahead of time to die for me. Therefore I renounce the nature of sin and I accept Jesus as my Saviour. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is God the Son, who died for me and was raised from the dead on the third day by your power. I believe that Jesus is risen and He's alive forever. I accept Him into my heart and I declare His Lordship over my life now and forever. From this moment, I'm born again. I'm now a new creation and I have eternal life. Thank you Father for saving me and taking full charge of my life in Jesus' Name, Amen!
