Otic and optic perceptions are extremely important or central to the success, outcome, or development of all aspects of human life and endeavour. Why did I say so? People hear, see, articulate, speak and act in accordance with their level of otic and optic understanding, both spiritual and physical.
However there is a place of mindful function for every one of us, meaning that mentalities, spiritual insights, perspectives and lenses are not being transmitted at the same level of frequency in numerous individuals' lives. Of course, otic and optic perceptions require a lot of strengthening and comprehension at all levels of life, which is the reason that inspired the expository knowledge of this topic. More below!

Reference: Proverbs 20:12 New International Version (NIV)
"Ears that hear and eyes that see— the LORD has made them both."
The specific wordings contained in the above Scripture imply that God planned meaningful body organs for mankind. For instance, the eyes sustain sights, while the ears sustain auricular perceptions, and both have sensory nerves that carry information to the human brain. Moreover, functioning by physical senses alone are mainly observed with the carnal mind but there is more to the issues of life than just operating by the physical senses which are limited.
At basic level, the useful nature of human eyes and ears suggests the significance of rich sensory perception, intellectual insights and ordinary experiences. From spiritual level or standpoint, otic and optic perceptions mean more than receiving sound and sight; they are denotative of receiving the truth of God's Word with genuine hearing and accurate astute, and in this case, selective listening and seeing will definitely attract the life-transforming impact from the Gospel truth.
What do I mean by selective listening and seeing? As a born again Christian, it is not everything you hear or see that you must pay attention to, because your heart is too precious to tune in to every worldly opinion and uninspiring information, or to be captured by hollow and deceptive philosophies, which depend on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. To that effect, the Berean Literal Bible version of Proverbial inspired wisdom reads, "With all diligence, guard your heart, for from it are the outgoings of life" (Proverbs 4:23).
You must also avoid entertaining multifaceted earthly concerns and learn to filter all you hear and see through the instrumentality and standard of God's Word. So failing to particularly observe and perceive spiritual truths means that you have officially embraced spiritual deafness and so, you are missing the spiritual absorbance of light of the knowledge of God, which implies that you cannot know or master the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.
If the ears that hear and eyes that see are earthen appliances designed by the Lord, then it means that we are expected to make it more useful for the Maker or Manufacturer, in terms of hearing His voice and seeing from His perspective, which stresses the importance of spiritual cognizance. Now, in what ways can we cultivate the eyes and ears that are attuned to God's voice and perspective, beyond simply functioning with both senses with regards to reflecting their natural effects? Stay tuned for part 5. Shalom!

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the grace for my Christian life and journey which I started out by hearing, seeing and desiring to function like you, as a new born babe. Thank you for your Word that provides spiritual strength and nourishment - which is the key to my spiritual growth, as I learn to walk, mature and advance in the things of the Spirit by constantly enhancing my otic and optic perceptions, in Jesus' name, Amen.
