LAUGHTER IS SYNONYMOUS WITH DOMINION
Today I want to encourage you to laugh more. It is God that created laughter and He designed it for your own good. In fact God created every emotion you feel. However laughter is the best of them all. It helps to get your adrenaline going and keep your head up in all situations. The question is how often do we laugh?
Reference: Psalm 2:4 New Living Translation (NLT) 'The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.'
The Bible says, 'God sits in the heavens -which is a reference to His throne - from which He rules heaven and earth. From that lofty, sovereign vantage point, He laughs. Looking at the context of this Scripture, God laughs because He has the supreme and ultimate authority over all things. To be more specific, if you read the first three verses of Psalm chapter 2, the nations' plot does not move God. To Him, it is laughable because God is not intimidated by tantrums from human beings. All the power of all the nations is no match for God.
This is how God wants you to function as His beloved - laugh real always. Laughter has incredible positive effect on your mind and soul. When you are faced with any challenging situation, opposition and even unfavourable news, go to your mirror, scan through your good looks and uniqueness, and engage in a burst of laughing conclave - like your heavenly Father. Don't ever be moved by any circumstance because you are blessed beyond measure and all will end in praise. You are too gorgeous to be perturbed about any problem. Why? Its because you are an ardent overcomer and more than a conqueror in this present life.
Laughter is synonymous with testimony, victory and dominion. If God is truly your Father, then you have something to laugh about. When you laugh at all times, you send your enemies into the camp of boundless confusion because you are in charge and your peace is intact. Stop being heavy about 'anything' or 'everything'. Its easy to find a lot of issues that keep you in worry and force you to carry heaven burdens around until you develop an impaired laughing system. But this is not God's plan for your life.
God placed us in Christ, the highest level in spiritual realm. Where is this place called Christ? Ephesians 1:20-22 (NIV) reveals Christ as a position, highest in rank or authority. Christ was raised from the dead and is seated at God's right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church.
Then Ephesians 2:6 (NIV) records this about us: 'And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.' This means that we are seated with Christ at God's right hand in the heavenly realms. Notice that the Bible did not say, 'right hand side' but 'right hand', which means - a position of supreme authority. Beloved, that's the realm we function from. You can now see the reason why you must laugh often like God. Don't ever give in to despair. Don't entertain depression. You are seated with Christ at the greatest position of authority. People in that position don't get disturbed by anything; they exercise absolute dominion through laughter.
Scripture Reading - Psalm 16:11; Proverbs 15:13,15; Isaiah 55:12; Proverbs 17:22.
Exuberant Declaration: My laughter is a good medicine to my body and I laugh all the time. The engine of my laughter is serviced and sustained by the Holy Spirit resident in me. In Christ Jesus, I have nothing to worry about because all things work together in my favour. My laughter shatters the plans of the enemy and enforces testimonies in my life which can never be despised or denied. Blessed be God forever!
