Reference: Colossians 2:6-7 New International Version (NIV)

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

In today's article, my expository focus is still majored on the versified segmentary statement:

"Rooted and built up in Him"

The last Adam's effect fuels, forms and encompasses the inner life of the soul and recreated spirit of the new creation, which is the "root system" and as well, He is a great building constructor. In a nutshell, this very superior Adam exudes a phenomenal proliferation or a quality production of divine energy that shapes our inward and outward spiritual growth in the likeness of the eternal nature of God, as we receive the Word of His grace and actively participate in the faith it conveys.

So we have the last Adamic "root system" and His "building construction." Both of them are considered as the two dynamical will of His good pleasure in the new creation (see Philippians 2:13 NKJV).

By reflecting on the symbolic emphasis, I eccentuate that the "root system" (which entails getting our radicles anchored firmly in Christ), has got to do with God's mysterious workings in our inward being, and it can be continually exerted in us through applied faith in the Word and by heightening the strength of our fellowship with Divinity.

Now one of the sure ways of getting rooted in Christ is the peculiar concept known as gaining a relational and demonstrative understanding of divine mysteries, and its mainly actualized by cultivating an enduring intimacy with the precious Holy Spirit via consistent fellowship with Him. That way, we acquire the essential nutrients required for all-round spiritual growth and development. In other words, it is the spiritual understanding gained from the true, pure and healthy wisdom emanating from the Word that is transported to all parts of our belief system and faith muscles, for our steady spiritual growth and development.

Why must we take the fellowship of the Holy Spirit seriously? He is the very tangible presence of God dwelling within us, as the temple of the living God. Hence, He is instrumental in or central to processing our "root system" because He guides us into all truth, as well as, uninstalls any root particle and development He does not recognise as Christ-like material.  As we fundamentally experience and obtain comprehensive insight into divine mysteries He guides us into, our faith walk emerges as getting deepened in God, thereby transfiguring us into the unco image of Christ - as long as our spirit remains receptive to the grandeur communications of His governing ascendancy.

In practical nature, He can even use ordinary events in real-life situations to generate a deeper analysis of the larger truth which He guides us into, and as long as we are very sensitive to His leading influences and governing strategy, our root system is accurately being shaped - from the standpoint of revelatory amplification of divine knowledge. Admittedly, getting rooted in last Adam has got more to do with inward spiritual growth and transformation, and this is the reason we must always open our spiritual eyes to divine realities in order to grasp ganary or massive volumes of divine enlightenment.

Since divine mysteries can only be unveiled by spiritual means, which is far from sensory intimation and impressions, we must go for the Word and enrich ourselves with it, in an amply-enabled fashion. In addition, we are not to faint in prayer, because it is the very spiritual exercise that empowers us to yield ourselves daily - to the guiding influence of the Holy Spirit which ushers us to uncommon balconies in the spiritual realm. Through such medium of practice, God reveals and establishes the uniqueness of last Adam's priestly authority in us.

As we continue to get rooted in Christ, we get to realise that we are provided with a robust ground for the assurance of our faith walk and corresponding results, and we will also be cognizant of a deep-seated recognition that we have become very confident in our prayer life, even in times of earthly trials and any challenging views. Stay tuned for part 7. Shalom!

Guided Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for my positioning ability associated with being rooted in your divine and loving nature which is highly indicative of my lifetime dependence on last Adam for my all-round victorious and successful supernatural existence, in Jesus' name, Amen!
