"Then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

The Scriptures tell us, "The first man, Adam, became a living person." But the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit. This is noted in accordance with Pauline epistolary expression numbered as 1st Corinthians 15:45 (ESV). 

The Spirit of Scriptures, having informed us that the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit, exhorts us to continue to live our lives in Him, which is denotative of exceptional functionality rooted in divine model-based wisdom, considered as Christ's manner of living.

Beloved, true Christianity is all about the realness of Christ, the last Adam, and His progressive effects in any born again Christian's earthen vessel. So therefore, being actively alive in Christ is not a matter of how long you have been born again, or how many miracles you've experienced but how your inward being, outward being and your verbal utterances have been evidently transformed to manifest the display of His virtuous embodiment, on account of Spirit-inspired or upright influence being exerted through you as Christ is formed in you. 

Gracefully, from any locational region you find yourself in this world, you can live your life in Christ, by investing His Heavenly settings within you, as well as His ideals of serving God rightly, such as His selfless attributes and obedient attitude, which will in turn, shape your true identity, behavioural inclination, sound judgement in decision making, and godly choices in everyday life.

"Last Adam effects" is the highest level of divine configuration at which a continually renewed mind and transformed actions can be set to operate - as one fulfils a glorious destiny. To that effect, our referenced Scripture reads, "just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness" (Colossians  2:6-7 NIV).

In other words, as you therefore, have received Christ Jesus as Saviour and Lord, endeavour to consistently embrace His progressively transforming effects, by being rooted and built up in Him and by being established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Notice the dependent surbodinate clause in the versified passage, "As you were taught"! In today's Christian living world, the suggested clause would mean, "As you are being taught", denoting a present perfect continuous tense.

Apparently, there is a model-based teaching reflecting Christ! Yes, you ought to be built up and established in "God-kind of faith" - as you have been taught or as you are being taught. So there are right doctrinal teachings that convey and typify His moral excellence, godly values, pure lifestyle, healthy interests and absolute perfections, which are worthy of ethical emulation. Such teachings portray Christ's manner of living that mirrored the energy of exemplar in divine morality and consecration while He walked on earth.

To expound our referenced Scripture with a bountiful insightful descriptions and enlightenment that convey easy-based comprehensions, I have decided to provide the expository cognizance by dividing the versified statement into 4 segmentation analyses, as noted below: 

 1. So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him,

2. Rooted and built up in Him, 

3. Strengthened in the faith as you were taught,

4. And overflowing with thankfulness.

Beloved, this very significant teaching relating to an unusual person's manner, namely last Adam, will surely empower you with the wisdom of the Spirit and grant you His strategic approach that guides you to manifest an accurate thought pattern, attitudinal position or propensity, and Spirit-enabled actions that align with that of Christ - from a clarified standpoint of fulfilling your divine purpose on earth. Exuberant Declaration:

I have been called out of inky darkness and transferred into the shimmering light in Christ that I may proclaim His wondrous acts, and manifest His virtuous embodiments and perfections. Moreover, I'm forever grateful that Christ Jesus, the last Adam, left beneficial example, so that I might follow in His footsteps through the precise leading of the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah!
