Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

The impact of Angelic assistance in your life:

Angels are assigned to you by God. They are heavenly beings and they are elegant. Angels are immortal beings. They don't die and they don't marry (see Matthew 22:30; Luke 20:36). In this month of Angelic assistance, our study will give you a true picture of these heavenly beings and their functions.

Angels accompany the saints during evangelism (Revelation 14:6). They rejoice in heaven over each sinner that repents (Luke 15:10).

When you get born again, you arrive at their sphere of influence. Hebrews 12:22 (NKJV) says, 'But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels..'

Now that you are born again, you have the right to angelic assistance. The Bible says, 'for it is written, 'he will command his angels to guard you carefully (Luke 4:10). So angels of the Lord encamp all around those who fear the Lord and deliver them (see Psalm 34:7 NKJV). How do we relate to them? What is their role and position in our lives?

Colossians 2:18 (NIV) says, 'Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind.' Why? This is because, in God's creation, born again Christians are not on the same wavelength with angels. We are not designed to worship them, rather angels are positioned to serve and minister for us. They are not in position to rule over you but to serve and protect you; they are special attendants, awaiting your order.

Psalm 103:20 (AMP) reads, 'Bless the Lord, you His angels, You mighty ones who do His commandments, Obeying the voice of His word!' In this verse, notice what the angels obey: the voice of God's Word. Who gives voice to the Word of God? You and me. If there's no declaration or utterance of the Word, there won't be any angelic transaction or services on your behalf. Remember, the Bible says in Job 22:28 (KJV), 'Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.' Angels are the ones that establish your decree.

Decrees are like orders. They are products to be dispatched and delivered. It's like ordering a meal from a restaurant via phone call. Also picture an online business. Once you order food or order a product online, local couriers are informed to simply and safely deliver your products to you as a customer. For some products, the orders are delivered with immediate effect or same day, while some take a little while. Basically, those courier service delivery you get in the process are likened to angelic assistance.

Angels are like waiters, courier or mail carrier. They are waiting for your decree, declaration or confession, so as to establish them once they hear your directive. They go into action excelling in strength to deliver and establish them in your world. Someone might say, 'I decreed God's Word concerning my health or family, but I'm yet to see the result.' Again picture a waiter in a restaurant who has taken your order. The order has to be prepared, and depending on the time it takes to be prepared, you have to wait for it. The same with courier service delivery. They may take a little time on the way to deliver your request.

Daniel had this experience while He prayed and fasted for 21 days for a desired answer. The Bible says, 'During those days I, Daniel, mourned for three whole weeks. I didn't eat any good-tasting food. No meat or wine entered my mouth. I didn't wash myself until the entire three weeks were over' (Daniel 10:2-3 GW).

What happened next? A ministering Angel came and touched him. Here's the explanation the Angel gave: Then a hand touched me and made my hands and knees shake. The man said to me, “Daniel, you are highly respected. Pay attention to my words. Stand up, because I’ve been sent to you.” When he said this to me, I stood up, trembling. He told me, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. God has heard everything that you said ever since the first day you decided to humble yourself in front of your God so that you could learn to understand things. I have come in response to your prayer. The commander of the Persian kingdom opposed me for 21 days. But then Michael, one of the chief commanders, came to help me because I was left alone with the kings of Persia (Daniel 10:10-13).

Your decree and prayers are honoured and answered instantly; they are delivered expressly. Sometimes when a courier service delivery is delayed, it might be due to an incident or a traffic on the way. Same way, you must be patient and keep using the right words until you see your decree established.
