IN CHRIST, YOU ARE SUPERIOR TO THE WORLD - PART 3

Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. But it needs to rest or depend on something, which is the power of God, as I explained in part two. I also emphasized the need to exercise our faith effectively. One of the ways to do so is by submitting ourselves to God, and moreover, our faith needs something to work with, like a supplement. What is the supplement? Its called love, which is the highest raying out of the divine light. Let's find out more!

Reference: 1 John 5:4 New King James Version (NKJV) "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith."

When we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no limit to what we can accomplish. However, what is important is faith expressing itself in love. Galatians 5:6 (AMPC) says, "For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love." What does this Scripture stand for? It is an assurance which God gives His people as they develop their interest in His love. The assurance is that their faith would definitely work and produce results. What do I mean by God's children developing their interest in God's love? I mean that we must aim to walk in God's love which is the Greek Grammar known as "Agape."

Faith works through love. But understand this: You must have been experiencing, walking and living in God's love. Faith activated, energized and expressed and working through love, doesn't necessarily imply that anytime you want to exercise faith, you start operating in "Agape." It must become a way of life, not a momentary event just because you want your faith to work. Got it? In the first place, your Christian character and experiences should be the earnest results of walking in God's love, in the sense of it being your guaranteed way of life. Now because of the knowledge of God's love in you, exercising your faith becomes a way of demonstrating the testimony of the Spirit of God in your life. Please don't miss this!

As a born again Christian, your faith attitude is designed to spring directly from the experiences of deep love of God. That's what apostle Paul meant when he said, "What matters most is faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love." When your faith is working by God's love, you will get to the highest summits in your faith demonstrations, a dimension in which anything is possible. Your faith now becomes activated, energized and expressly working in perfect condition. This is because under the atmosphere of "Agape", your faith is the invisible bond that excites God. No wonder Hebrews 11:6 says, "And it is impossible to please God without faith..." Therefore, no man, no situation, no sword, and nothing in this life and world can stop or block the efficacy of a faith that beams with divine love. Shalom!

Guided Prayer: Dear Father in heaven, deep down in my heart is your peace and comfort which stem from the conviction that my faith is active and the direct result of walking in your eternal truth.
