GRACE-FILLED TONGUE - PART 4

SATURDAY 14 JANUARY 2023

The book of Isaiah acknowledged the benefit and excellency of words of wisdom and brotherly communion of the faithful with the Sovereign Lord, at early morning times. Let's find out more!

Reference: Isaiah 50:4 New Living Translation (NLT) "The Sovereign LORD has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will."

The next line in this Scripture is: Morning by morning God wakens me and opens my understanding to His will." You can imagine that God wakes you up in the morning, and His words of wisdom become the source of your delight, and His will, the joy and euphoria of your spiritual understanding. And He does it morning by morning, which suggests "habitually." Think about it again. This season, early in the morning, when the fresh morning dews are still dropping. As the moisture is drawn to your window pane, from an excess of water vapour in the air, which condenses and freezes to form ice crystals, God is busy engaging your understanding and dropping some fresh words of wisdom into your inner being.

As God inspires you with words of wisdom, don't just let such words keep coming and ringing in your veins, pray in tongues briefly, so that the wordings will saturate every texture of your being, and permeate your blood vessels. Remember that He opens your understanding to His will, and then fills it with a deposit of wise sayings, meaning that He desires that they become part of your entire being. While it's normal for most of you to desire to experience divine wisdom at early mornings, this early spiritual exercise should also remind you of having a notepad or tablet near you so you can pen excessive drops as a note (if not all), otherwise you may forget some hints in the air of the atmosphere of your habitation, even before they settle within the chambers of your understanding. Therefore, your responsibility is not just to draw from the source of wisdom, you must ensure that you keep records of all the meditations absorbed in your thoughts.

In summary, 1st Corinthians 12:8 (NASB) noted: "For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit", meaning that word of wisdom is a spiritual gift and object of the manifestation of the Spirit. So this gift, also known as message of wisdom, and can also be rendered as utterance of wisdom, depending on the Bible translation, is the ability of the Spirit at work in a man, which empowers him to gain significant insight into the divine truth of God's will, with clarity of understanding in a way that benefits others. This is the reason our referenced Scripture says, "The Sovereign LORD has given me His words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will." Got it? Such utterance or message, comes with clarity of understanding, thereby empowering the "knower" to instruct the "beneficiary" precisely, in a profitable manner. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Proverbs 4:6-7; Psalm 37:30; Proverbs 19:11; Colossians 2:2-3.

Exuberant Declaration: The depth of the riches of wisdom of God are unsearchable, inexhaustible and unfathomable. Indeed, the words of divine wisdom are highly worthy of admiration; they charm and fascinate me into the reality of functioning with divine glamour; hence, I note them well! Thankfully, God looks upon me early in the morning with constant approval; therefore I consider His thoughts with full attention. For more of this rare worth, I pause, gaze and meditate on the Word and, lo and behold, how pleasant and rewarding it is to engage the mystery of wisdom. Hallelujah!
