DIVINE DISCUSSION - PART 1

MONDAY 27 JANUARY 2025

All of us who are in Christ Jesus are chosen by God Himself, not because we suggested it as a discussion or as our own plan, but because even before God made the world, He loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes (Ephesians 1:4 NLT). And that's awesomely delightful and tremendous, a timeless reality which can inspire me to tremble before the Most High. More below!

Reference: John 17:10 New Living Translation (NLT)

"All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory."

When I was cogitating on the above versified reference, I marvelled with upmost amount of radical thinking, considering the passionate conversation between God the Father, and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Although the content of the referenced Scripture was all about Jesus' prayer on behalf of His disciples, it was conveyed as an interactive design expression, which equally extends to all the saints who have been purchased by the precious blood of Jesus. Again, pay apt attention to the connotative strength of the versified statement:

"All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory."

To me, the statement is indicative of the saints being inextricably intertwined with Divinity, and more so, it reveals an intense focus on:

1. Our belongingness to Supreme Deity [God the Father and God the Son],

2. Our relational link to their eternality [the supreme world of Divinity],

3. Loving power of Divinity, which serves as a form of placard over their significant possessions [the saints],

4.Christ's affectionate ability to always pay attention to the common spiritual good of God's own people,

5. Their collective consciousness of valuing the saints as their superlative priority, and the truth that the saints are fundamentally driven by the glory they bring to the King of kings oftentimes.

What an amazingly wonderful and well-loved saints. We are precious "Gifts" from God to the Lord Jesus Christ, and we are being cherished and discussed by both of them, which emphasizes their choicest pleasure and finest treasure, a sacred dialogue based on real-heaven belongingness as it pertains to those chosen by God.

God-Christ satisfactory intimate relationship is always part of our present life on earth because it influences everything about the functional existence of the saints on earth as  missional chosen generation, and in their heartfelt conversations, they always articulate the practical worth of the saints, whom they have chosen to become partakers of heavenly-minded experiences.

Into the bargain, to go further in my expository enlightenment regarding the structure of this wonderful topic, I have decided to divide the versified reference into 3 segments on purpose, for profound in-depth analysis, which is beneficial to your spiritual comprehension. They are as follows:

1. All who are mine belong to you,

2. And you have given them to me,

3. So they bring me glory.

Starting from our new birth and continuing throughout our earthly lives, we are being discussed by God and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the unique nature of their sacred discussion always shapes our ability to be spiritually empowered to bring Christ glory in our faith walk with God. Stay tuned for part 2. Shalom!
