Reference: Matthew 11:28-30 New International Version (NIV)
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Today's article is mainly focused on the second versified segment:
"Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
I noted in part 5 that the "invitation" activities would consist of taking up His own kind of yoke [light burden, access to divine authority and its obligation through submission to His Lordship], as well as learning from Him [last Adam's exemplum].
The verbal expression, "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me" is a metaphorical/figurative phrase, denoting that by honouring His invitation, there are two excellent offers the Lord will impart on you, namely:
1. Last Adam's yoke.
2. Last Adam exemplum.
If last Adam is offering His Lordship obligation and exemplary life to the weary, and to those carrying heavy burdens, that is an act of generous comfort, combining His yoke and His exemplary life in the realm of "divine rest" visibility, which His invitation spelled out plainly. Undoubtedly, when the one who is considered wearisome or burdened becomes yoked to last Adam, his weary soul will surely find rest.
Now watch this:
What is last Adam's yoke? His yoke is a godly burden and spiritual obligation we are inspired and conditioned to participate in, by being placed under His authority, so as to align with or function in accordance with His divine intelligence, via the constant guidance of Allos Parakletos. This burden takes place in a manner, form and nature which opens our eyes to recognise that we cannot be proficient or efficient enough to handle anything on our own, without His superior Adamic intelligence.
Christ's yoke is a glorious burden noticeably taken by functioning as God's workmanship in last Adam. To that effect, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Ephesians 2:10 reads, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them" (ESV).
More so, taking up divine yoke means being conscious of having been created for that particular purpose in the Anointed, last Adam, thereby accomplishing the good works God arranged long ago. Got it? And the yoke is served or observed with an inner inspiration and conviction to be active in the things of the Spirit, thus setting divine plan in motion in anyone's life. To that effect, Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Philippians 2:13 reads, "for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose" (NIV). This means that God's work through His Spirit will begin to consume or prevail over your mind and life, such that anxiety and worldly burden will have no room to function in your life.
What are the "functions" of last Adam's yoke?
1. Showing and extending grace to others, especially by looking out for their interests, and interceding for them, just as Pauline epistolary expression noted in Philippians 2:4 which reads, "Don't look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too" (NLT).
2. Awareness of sharing the message of reconciliation which points people to the salvation that is found in Christ alone, because God has given us the ministry of reconciliation replete with evangelistic effects, according to 2nd Corinthians 5:18-21 (NIV).
3. Encouraging and building up faith in you and in others with the message of the divine grace. To that effect, the very Scripture numbered as Acts 20:32 reads, "Now I commit you to God and to the word of His grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified" (NIV).
4. Administering sincere help to the needy and lifting the downcast who are discouraged, or feeling low in spirits, as well as munificently feeding the hungry, helping the poor, visiting the sick and diseased, and caring for them, ministering meaningful and live-changing proclamation of freedom to those who are suffering afflictions, and offering excellent and suitable hospitality to the people we come in contact with, in order to continually eradicate the sorrows of mankind in our various world, through the agency of the Comforter, known as the Spirit of truth and comfort. To that effect, Hebraic awakening inspiration numbered as Hebrews 13:16 reads, "And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased" (NIV).
Markedly and cognizantly, the capacity of this article cannot hold more informative analyses regarding the functional magnification of divine yoke, but most importantly, by honouring His invitation, we are solemnly endowed with divine power to keep fulfilling the descriptions of the yoke in the process of time.
Moreover, if you are unsaved, you must be willing to discover and gain the spotlight comprehension that coming to Christ to obtain divine rest should not imply that once divine rest is obtained, you can go back to the world. You must wholeheartedly receive Him as your Lord and Saviour and remain in Him to practically cultivate your love for Supreme Deity, and live for Him by surrendering to Him entirely, growing in the knowledge of higher vibrations and altitude of this rest, because there is no divine rest outside last Adam and deliberate submission to His Lordship and supreme authority.
Stay tuned for the second offer which is last Adam exemplum. Shalom!

Exuberant Declaration:
I am so blessed because I am an ardently-gracious partaker of last Adam's yoke, which produces undeniable "faith-inspired" results in my world and outward lifestyle. Praise God.
