Reference: Matthew 11:28 New International Version (NIV)
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
What does this imply for a born again Christian who is weary and burdened? A born again Christian is that person who has received the Holy Spirit, having given their lives to Christ. He can experience another aspect of coming to Jesus with regard to dropping his weariness [spiritual, physical and mental exhaustion] and any heavy burden - by simply calling on the Lord through effectual prayer and actioning the Word.
A Christian may find himself getting weary and heavily burdened, thereby having some sort of experience where they become too careless or exhausted to call on the name. Eventually, if they did not call on the name, it is usually because the spirit became dull and weak, and they shut their mouth. But beloved, when you are heavily burdened, call on the name by forced determination, with deep sense of enthusiasm, and you'll receive renewed strength, inspired vim, and robust refreshment, such that the overpowering or prevailing influence of the Spirit will take over your spirit, soul and body and become your availed portion and powered expressiveness.
If you call on the name of the Lord long enough - to offload that burden, you'll be quickened, fortified and imbued with divine grace and mercy which will attract your desired response. So why must one call on the name? You must do the "calling" part because the Word tells us that everything we need to live a godly life has become "accomplished benefits" for us - in the name of Jesus (See also 2nd Corinthians 1:20 NLT).
To that effect, Hebraic awakening inspiration numbered as Hebrews 4:16 reads:
"Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need" (NIV).
Yes all of the accomplished benefits are supplied or obtained in the Lord's name, and they are all-inclusively packaged in multifaceted grace and mercy. This is the reason last Adam would tell you to come to Him, if you are weary and burdened, and He would give you rest. Got it? An Adam who provides rest for the weary and heavily burdened can address all the issues pertaining to body, soul and spirit when a person comes to Him. To that effect, Petrine epistolary expression numbered as 1st Peter 5:7 reads,
"Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]" (AMP).
So this versified remark shows that you should leave all your worries with Him, because He cares for you. Be it weariness issues, anxiety, heavy burden, or other forms of worry, a born again Christian who has been established on the path of eternal salvation, is expected to enrich his understanding with a self-conscious recognition of this versified thought, which is the mind and will of God concerning the saints in Christ.
