CHRIST HAS BEEN MADE UNTO US - ALL WISDOM
WEDNESDAYS 20 APRIL 2022
"Christ in you" is a proof that you have the unlimited operation of the Spirit of wisdom within you. Christ is the inward wheel of wisdom that controls us, drives us in the right direction and establishes God's will and purpose in us and through us. He turns us to a strategic position of seeing God's purpose clearly, realising it fully through our human spirit, and fulfilling it by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Reference: 1 Corinthians 1:30 New International Version (NIV) "It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God - that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption."
Beloved, as born again Christians, God has united us with Christ Jesus. And for our benefit, God made Christ to become our wisdom Himself. Christ is the embodiment and personification of divine wisdom. In other words, Christ is everything God planned, purposed and prepared for us to be and have. God uses Christ to create whatever good pleasure He wants to see in us. Through Christ, God made us right with Himself; Christ is instrumental in making us pure and holy, and He freed us from sin because God used Him to accomplish them all.
When you receive Christ, you receive the wisdom of God that reveals His plan for godly and righteous living and other benefits of salvation. And as you practise Christ, you live until you come to the fullness of abundant life. Everything we become in this Kingdom is by Christ. Since this wisdom (Christ) establishes our righteousness, holiness and redemption, Christ our righteousness implies that the wisdom of Christ in us makes us right with God. The Bible says, "For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ" (NLT). In other words, we became the righteousness of God through Christ; He is the wisdom that made us acceptable to God.
The next is Holiness. Christ-imparted holiness indicates that His wisdom in us sanctifies and purifies our heart to enable it see and experience God. Hebrews 12:14 (NIV) reads, "Without holiness no one will see the Lord." God is from eternity to eternity; therefore, without holiness which is the product of a pure heart, we cannot experience God and His eternality and we cannot conform to His standard. Therefore through the wisdom of Christ in us, we are sanctified, thereby making us holy and setting us apart for God.
The next is the wisdom of Christ as our redemption, which provided our ransom from the penalty for sin and positioned us for godly and righteous living. God redeemed us through Christ and also implanted and established Christ in us, thereby embedding His wisdom and glory in our inward being. No wonder Colossians 1:27 reads, "To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory" (NIV). Beloved, there is an internal secret in us and this secret is the revelation of divine wisdom which denotes "Christ in you." This embedded secret is a mystery that grants us the assurance of sharing God's glory to infinity and beyond, owing to our redemption.
Romans 8:29 reads, "For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters" (NIV). As God's children, we grow and perfect in this wisdom, because the Christian's growth is experienced by conforming to the image and glory of Christ (see also 2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT). As people of light, all the attributes of Christ's wisdom is available in us. They are the principles for Christian living. In other words, Christ is the life we have been called to live and conform to. He is the wisdom and power that God had ordained for us to live by, in order to migrate to greater levels of life, as we remain in the light. Shalom!

Guided Prayer: Heavenly Father, I'm grateful for establishing Christ in me and increasingly bringing His powerful influence to bear upon my life's affairs. Indeed, you have made Christ my wisdom; He is my righteousness, holiness and redemption. By abiding in the Word, I'm changed to conform to Christ's image and reflect His glory, and the Holy Spirit makes me more and more like Him.
