BY THE RIGHT WORDS - PART 4

This is one thing I have discovered on my own in the scheme of things: God has originally made all things upright for mankind, by giving him a mouth that can speak. To that effect, the Douay-Rheims Bible translation of James 3:2 reads: For in many things we all offend. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man. He is able also with a bridle to lead about the whole body.

Yet I have examined the above Scripture oftentimes - by analytical wisdom, and still do not grasp the reason why all and sundry do not pay adequate attention to everything they say. Hence, it is only beneficial to those who do see the light of such knowledge - by the helpful administration of the Holy Spirit (see Proverbs 18:21 NIV). More below!

Proverbs 18:20 (ESV)

"From the fruit of a man's mouth his stomach is satisfied; he is satisfied by the yield of his lips."

When manifold revelation knowledge is tied to one verse, like the above mentioned versified statement, it implies that the divine speech that was uttered has many-sided sections of spiritual understanding, some which are considered as the hidden mind of God behind that Scripture, known as surpassing mysteries, and I will notably divulge some in the successive parts of this wonderful topic.

Faith-filled words are not utterances we make out of our own humanly enabled reasoning; They are words that proceed or proceeded from hearing divine truth because faith comes by hearing (see Romans 10:17 NKJV); So it is a response to what God has already done on our behalf in accordance with the Scripture, and as we hear it, accept it, and believe it, we are aptly inspired to speak faith-filled words which have welled up inside of us. To that effect, the New International Version of Pauline epistolary expression numbered as 2nd Corinthians 4:13 reads, "It is written: 'I believed; therefore I have spoken.' Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak" (NIV).

The spirit of faith activates the divine speechifications in a man's mouth because of what he has heard, which is an obvious advantage of gaining accurate divine knowledge, and on account of this very truth, he speaks in compliance with the verdicts he has believed.

As he demonstrates faith-filled utterances, which are positive affirmations - supplied in translated light of clarity from an epexegetical sense, he fills his "belly" unit with unco wisdom that yields such tangibly-described benefits in life. So in the contextualized evaluation and comprehension of our referenced Scripture, the mouth is associated with verbalising a man's godly desire, while the belly is used as a metonymy for the "womb" that processes the spoken words. Are you with me?

Beloved, if the fruit of a mouth is evidently transmitted, then the stomach is satisfied, and this is indicative of the verity that the first part of our versified reference: "If the fruit of a mouth is evidently transmitted" is a conditional statement (Protasis), while the second part "his stomach is satisfied" is the resultant effect (Apodosis). Stay tuned for Part 5. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Mark 11:22-23; 2nd Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 10:23; Hebrews 11:1-3.

Exuberant Declaration:

The wisdom of God spoken through my mouth provides for my stomach, which is rewardingly accessible as I receive the yield of my lips that I gain as goodly inheritance - by my faith demonstrations. Praise God!
