BORN OF GOD - PART 8

SATURDAY 19 JULY 2025

Have you ever thought of who your heavenly Father is? I call Him, the God who gives birth to gods. I said, "You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High" (Psalm 82:6 NKJV). Even though I am God's child, I am considered a superior god functioning on earth by His supernatural ability, because as a new creature in Christ, I am not born of blood, nor of the desire of the flesh, nor will of man, but of God. Therefore, I express the joyful recognition of my new birth in Christ. More below!

Reference: John 1:12-13 New International Version (NIV)

"Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God."

Today's article is focused on the last segmentary differentiation, namely:

"But born of God" (ie, Supernatural birth).

Supernatural birth is not an erroneous reasoning or a logical expression; it is the birth of original new creation shaped by the Spirit of God Himself, meaning the 'Spirit-hovering-over-water' creation. So being born of God is being born of living water and the Spirit. Got it? To that effect, Jesus answered Nicodemus saying, "I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh [the physical is merely physical], and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:5-6 AMP).

As a born again Christian, the right given to you by the Lord to become God's own - is far from being born of natural descent, "For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect" (1st Peter 1:18-19 NLT/NIV).

To all who are born of God and call upon His name in spirit, in truth and by utmost sincerity; worshipping Him in the Spirit as the only true God with an earnest desire to please Him, this Scripture below is for you:

"For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God" (1st Peter 1:23 NLT).

God has given birth to gods with new life that will last forever. Yes the new birth is one that is born of water and the Spirit. The Spirit of God was hovering over the living water, and I emerged as a god with an inplanted divine nature and life; a clearly defined birth with consistent divine experiences. Hallelujah!

Now watch this: Johannine literature numbered as 1st John 2:14 reads:

I have written to you who are God's children because you know the Father. I have written to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I have written to you who are young in the faith because you are strong. God's word lives in your hearts, and you have won your battle with the evil one (NLT).

In line with the above versified passage, my specific area of focus is on the first versified segment, and that is:

"I have written to you who are God's children because you know the Father."

Knowledge is power, and this very knowledge of the Father is a form of firm recognition which implies that one cannot believe that God is his Father if one does not know Him. Knowing your Father, and acknowledging that you are born of Him, is a belief that is truly justified. Beloved, as a born again Christian, you must know and believe that you are born of God, and the point of such expression in the above versified statement is mainly to emphasize one's confidence in such knowledge rather than just knowing it. Are you with me?

When a firm confidence is associated with the belief, it is usually grounded in the notion that such knowledge will work for you at any given time. Now what and what will the knowledge do for you? Remember that applied knowledge is more powerful, which indicates that there is more to this knowledge than just a cognizance. Stay tuned for part 9. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - 2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Peter 1:3; James 1:18; 1 John 5:1.
