If you are born of God, you have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness, which is the empire of sin, ignorance and misery, to the Kingdom of light, where you align with heaven's plan and purpose for your life through sacred dedication, dignity, purity, holiness, joy, peace, righteousness and love. More below!

Reference: John 1:12-13 New International Version (NIV)
"Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God."
Today's article is focused on the second segmentary differentiation, namely:
"Nor of human decision" (ie, nor of the will of the flesh).
This gives us the idea of children given birth to - by human passion or fleshly desires. And it implies the will of the flesh (physical impulse), as in, being weak in the likeness of sinful nature. A man decided to start a romantic relationship with a woman, having looked at the woman with intense lust, characterized by a natural desire to satisfy his bodily needs, thereby developing a loftier sensual desires based on the promptings of human nature, which involves gratification of the senses by physical touches, resulting in sexual pleasures outside marriage. In such situation, a child or children may arrive or be given birth to, by the will of the flesh, which is denotative of carnal production of offsprings by uncontrolled and passionately-impelled sensual gratification.
So in this case, these are children who were not just born of natural descent, but were mainly born by the will of the flesh, due to people's urges to seek satisfaction of their sexual needs outside marriage, which is not in accordance with the perfect will of God. To that effect, the "International Standard Version" of John 1:13 reads, "children who were born, not merely in a genetic sense, nor from lust, nor from man's desire, but from the will of God."
Note the expression "nor from lust" in the translation, which signifies the will of the flesh. But as you become born again, God gives you the right to function as His own offspring - and by the spiritual promptings emanating from your Divine origin, as well as through mind renewal, your spirit, soul and body are liberated from this realm of immoral operation.
Pauline epistolary expression numbered as Romans 8:3-4 reads, "For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit" (ESV).
Having condemned sin in the flesh, which necessitates the desires and will of the flesh, Christ Jesus set us apart to God through His precious blood, and separated us from the waywardness and evil works in this present world, by giving us the right to become God's own children. Stay tuned for part 7. Shalom!
