The Word of God has solutional and transformational power because it is inspired by God. It's infused with divine breath which is capable of springing up life within us and in anything it is applied to. It produces the character of the Spirit in us as the light of eternal truth is established in our lives.
Hence, the Scripture, which is God-inspired writings, should not just be read like any other book because it grants a magnificent spiritual understanding, designed to be imprinted on the heart of every Christian believer for their spiritual growth and all-round development. .

Reference: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 Good News Translation (GNT) 'All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instruction for right living.'
There's a serious and solemn of density of attitude to adopt while reading and studying God's Word. Why must we take the study of God's Word seriously? The LORD is pleased because He does what is right. He praises the greatness of His teachings and makes them glorious (Isaiah 42:21 GNT). As saints who have been placed under the teachings of God's knowledge or given to the ministry of the Word, we must read, study and cogitate on it with ardent alacrity.
All born again Christians are all Bible students, having been born of the Word, and therefore, as students of the Word, we must seek its gainful understanding by indulging in its constant insightful analysis, discussion, examination, and continual prayer. We are to invest an intentional desire in Bible study, and it should be done with patience, focused attentiveness, and unwavering faith, so as to strive after a more perfect knowledge of it, by way of yielding completely to God's Spirit.
Prayer is the most necessary requirement for a precise comprehension of the spiritual intelligence embedded in divine writings. Therefore we must learn to persevere in His presence in order to receive accurate divine insights into manifold spiritual realities. Definitely, our patience will be rewarded, our prayers swiftly answered, and our faith rapidly increased, as we adopt the attitude of studying the Word with a voracious appetite. So let us never grow weary in reading and studying the Scriptures, because the more we do so on a daily basis, the more we continue to grasp the unfathomable transfiguring knowledge of God - by means of divine encounters. More so, the "study" practice positions us to action the application of the supernatural insights and obtain the promises and benefits it delivers, as we give ourselves wholly to it.
In 2nd Timothy 2:15 (KJV), Apostle Paul wrote this instructive insight to Timothy: "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.' In other words, give outright diligence to studying it so you can win God's full approval, like an approved worker who has nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word of truth with precision."
Even as you read the Golden News articles which is a devotional model, the aim is not to gain the writer's thought or view Pastor EJC's opinion about God. The aim is to receive and assimilate the transformational mysteries inspired by God in His written Word. Golden News is an article that sharpens your appetite for the Scriptures. So while reading this devotional, always have your Bible beside you and turn to the Scriptures that are referenced. That's one of the good ways to study and learn it as a student.
As you richly deposit the Word into your heart and invest it into your spirit, wonderful things will begin to happen in your life because it is God's inspired. Therefore, aim to renew your mind daily with the Scriptures so that your faith will grow strong, and such that your outlook and perspective towards every aspect of life will be altered for the better. Yes, every area of your life will definitely receive lasting transformation, on account of constant fellowship with the Word.
Remember, all Scripture is inspired by God and is useful and profitable for teaching the truth, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
Scripture Reading - Deuteronomy 8:3; Luke 4:4; 2 Timothy 3:15; 1 Peter 1:23.
Exuberant Declaration: All Scripture is inspired by God and I thank Him for the power in His Word, which is able to transform me and grant me an inveterate lifetime of glory and dominion, as I give myself to studying it. I am born of the incorruptible Word of God and by cogitating on it with ardent alacrity, I'm immune to the corrupting influences of this world. The Scriptures saturate my mind and spirit with God-powered sufficiency, and as they work in me hugely, they produce the results of the conveyed godly messages in my life and world, thereby sponsoring my continual victory and success in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
