God's mind is expressed in His Word, and as we continually soak our spirit and understanding with the Word, the Spirit of God will constantly achieve in us, the miracle of expressing the words of grace through our mouth. More below!

"For I have never spoken on My own initiative or authority, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment regarding what to say and what to speak."
Beloved, you must be totally interested in what God has to say. This was Jesus' attitude, according to our referenced Scripture.
When He said, "I have never spoken on My own initiative or authority, but the Father commands me on what to say and what to speak", we must acknowledge that it happened on earth, which means that it is equally important for us to function that way on earth. Therefore, we have the responsibility to exercise our speech by the Spirit of God. Got it? To that effect, 1 Peter 4:11 reads, "If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God..."(NIV).
Isaiah 51 talks about everlasting salvation for Zion. Those who belong to Zion are those who pursue righteousness and seek the Lord with all their hearts. And they do so, mainly, by taking God's Word to heart. So the Bible says, "I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand— I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, 'You are my people'" (Isaiah 51:16 NIV).
Another close resemblance of the above Scriptural expression is found in Jeremiah 1:9 which reads, "Then the LORD reached out and touched my mouth and said,'Look, I have put my words in your mouth!'" (NLT). If the inspired Scriptures can provide such an insight into the truth about anyone being God's mouthpiece, then there is need for the Holy Spirit to always back our words about God, other people and the affairs of this life.
Why is God's Word very important? You can never compare the personal experience of hearing and speaking ordinary human words with hearing and speaking God's Word. When we express the thoughts and mind of God in our speech, we have this inner conviction that assures us that our statements are not from our human mind, because there is dynamic power present in the words we speak. Why? They are backed up by the Spirit. The Gospel truths carry the true power of God; so if you allow the Spirit of God to always inspire your words, the words you speak can bring any solid and lasting change in your life, and transform your hearers.
The Bible says, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword..." (Hebrews 4:12 KJV). However, this is just the description of its efficacious influence. It doesn't mean that it is quick and powerful for everyone - in an automatic way. It is only so for those who believe it, speak it forth and put it to work. To that effect, Pauline epistolary expression says, "Therefore, we never stop thanking God that when you received his message from us, you didn't think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of God—which, of course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believe" (1 Thessalonians 2:13 NLT).
The Word of God dynamically works in those that believe it, and through it, the Spirit of God is actively at work in our minds and hearts, every hour of the day. Shalom!
I'm a carrier of God's many-sided grace and its evident in my utterances which are deep waters. I have developed the act of building my confidence and faith in the Word because the Holy Spirit makes my words effective and successful when I speak by faith. Praise God!
