THE REVELATION OF GOD'S LOVE

Anyone who seeks to understand the revelation of God's love need look no further than Christ and the gospel itself. God's love came through to us through His Son. However, the revelation of God's love cannot be grasped in the flesh but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God dwells in you. It is very true that many people in the world know about Christ's coming, His death and His resurrection but this general knowledge is entirely different from the revelation knowledge of God's love demonstrated through Christ.
Reference: 1 John 4:9 New Living Translation (NLT) "God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him."
One thing I like about God is that He is great at demonstrating His love with corresponding action. In the above verse, He showed us the main character of divine love by sending His one and only Son into the world as an emblem of perfect sacrifice for the sins of mankind. Through the trials and crucifixion of the main character of God's love, Christ, our spiritual insight can be increased and built toward the climax of an extraordinary awareness of this "agape" that comes with a hearty cheerfulness and compels great attention.
According to referenced Scripture, one of the reasons God revealed His Son into the world is for those who find and receive Him to have eternal life through Him, which means to "walk in recognition of the life He's already given us in Christ." To have eternal life through Christ is to live by Christ, recognizing that our union with Him entails the experiential knowledge of a life out of this world, which is from above, far superior to mortal, human life. This life begins with faith in Christ, and goes on in faith - continually demonstrated in the fullness of God's power in us. And we may never know the reality of the fullness of this life, unless we develop the acute consciousness of Christ in us.
Divinity is actively at work in us and eternal life defines the active presence of divinity. So there must be a conscious testimony to the truth that we have eternal life in Christ and it should be practically evident in our character and actions and must also be upheld as a pattern of healthy, spoken words. For instance, if you feel unhealthy or ill, and you are conscious of the truth that you have eternal life through Christ, your audible response should reveal it. Isaiah 33:24 (NIV) says, 'No one living in Zion will say, "I am ill..."' Every child of God is spiritually resident in Zion and for this reason, you should be properly disciplined to mind your verbal response to sickness, if you feel it. Don't accept what is forbidden in Zion with your speech because Zion understands the power of speech.
Now watch this: Romans 8:10-11 (NIV) says, "But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you." Firstly, notice that this Scripture is trying to cultivate the consciousness of eternal life in you, which is lived through the Spirit. This is the reason for the question: "But if Christ is in you..." In another way, you are the one in position to answer the question and if it is so and you are deeply conscious of it, no matter the sickness that challenges the body, you can acknowledge the Spirit of God and engage His active presence to flow in you as a health-giving Spirit and lifeblood, restoring life and vigour to your mortal body. And this is just one of the manifold ways to experience the manifestation of life of the Spirit in your body. Shalom!

Guided Prayer: Gracious heavenly Father, I thank you for showing me how much you love me by creating me in Christ Jesus, that I might have eternal life through Him. By reason of this life which is inherent in me, my inward being is receptive to the divine significance of the fullness of Christ. It's a life that furnishes me with distinguished confidence of unlimited access to the infinite goodness and favour of God, such as divine health, provision, good success, victory, dominion, safety and prosperity.
