SUPREME DEITY - PART 7

WEDNESDAY 01 NOVEMBER 2023

This is the last part of this wonderful topic, and therefore, I want you to understand that the full significance of God's voice may not really burst into clear view to the one who reads it for the first time. So the actual capacity of revealing the depth of divine thoughts or spiritual truths, in order for it to be perceived and established within our inwardness, lies in connecting it with our sense of understanding.

Reference: Psalm 62:11 Amplified Bible (AMP) "God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God."

Job 33:14 says, "For God may speak in one way, or in another, Yet man does not perceive it" (NKJV). Taking the time to hear God twice is worth more than you can imagine. Moreover, we need an unbroken focus on the Word in order to achieve the second hearing. Why do we need an unbroken focus? This is because when we decide to do so, the mind may come up with many suggestions along the way. If we are not careful, we may follow the new suggestions subconsciously. Remember that our mind wields a powerful effect in all our decisions, because it is the channel through which our consciousness comes to the body and the physical world.

So when we decide to hear God twice, the mind could possibly wander, and I believe that this is one of the reasons we strictly require a quite place. Interestingly, so many of us ignore our quiet time with God. Now let's assume that a Christian has decided to go to a secluded place so as to avoid distractions, while paying attention to the Word. On the way, he sees another Christian friend who suggests that they go for a restaurant and after that, he would make it to his place of quiet time with God. If he agrees because his friend is a child of God, they will end up at the restaurant, having accepted the shifty suggestion and opted out of his main decision, without realising what has happened.

Now what it means is that he has missed a golden opportunity to perceive God's voice which is more rewarding than the subtle voice that ruined another decision to gain insight into the depth of Supreme Deity. Beloved, if you are not serious enough or eagerly determined to host your decision to cogitate on the Word, which is always designed to provide you with a more established explication of God's rewarding intentions for His voice, you will yield to distracting influences. Although suggestions could come from your own mind, or from an outside force, you are the one to discipline yourself to focus on cogitating on the Word, otherwise you'll accept the immediate diversion. So you must always be willing to exercise careful judgment, when your mind begins to roam, in order to maintain your decision to hear God twice.

Finally, beloved, power belongs to God. The Scripture, in accordance with GOD'S WORD Translation of Job 9:4, reveals that God is wise in heart and mighty in power. Who could oppose Him and win? Therefore be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power (Ephesians 6:10). Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Joshua 1:8; Job 22:22; Matthew 22:29; 1 Corinthians 1:18.

Exuberant Declaration: Thanks be to God that my cogitative ability and process are a rewarding timing that offers insight into the underlying mechanisms of focused attention and untapped energy needed to activate and establish the voice of God in my spirit by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!
