SUPREME DEITY - PART 6

TUESDAY 31 OCTOBER 2023

One of the manifold benefits I often ascribe to our walk with Supreme Deity is the ability to provide us with noiseless superior advantage, plus rest and relief from all possible encounters with several powers in operation within the activities of everyday life. As born again Christians, we are superior beings because we belong to God, whose speech (wisdom) is replete with depth of divine inspiration and whose power is so immense in nature. More below!

Reference: Psalm 62:11 Amplified Bible (AMP) "God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God."

Our relationship with God is the most important relationship we should have, nurture and enjoy on earth and it should never have a limited capacity. You can have a great three-minute conversation with your best friend in a day, but don't do that with God. Just as you can hang out with loved ones for hours, get your relationship with God to that level as well, because as long as you've received Christ as Saviour and Lord, you have come into an inextricable association with Supreme Deity.

The Bible says, "But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in [adhere to, trust in, and rely on] His name" (John 1:12 AMP). Once you have the authority to become God's own possession, you have automatically received the power to live for His glory, meaning that our salvation is a powerful experience. Zero wonder Paul the apostle says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile" (Romans 1:16 NIV). In this Scripture, we can notice what the gospel represents. It is the power of God in operation that leads to salvation. In another way, a heavenly system of technology that manufactured our salvation is known as the "Glorious gospel."

Having been born again, we have received this power which is issued by the Holy Spirit according to 2nd Timothy 1:7-8 (NIV) - "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." And this also includes the power to walk in perfection, the power to raise your children in perfection, the power to get things right the first time, the power that emboldens us to share the gospel with others (Acts 1:8 NLT), the power that infuses us with the ability to think right, reason effectively and develop the Kingdom mindset, and the power to accomplish exploits for the Kingdom. In a nutshell, this power enables us to do all things. To that effect, Pauline epistle, according to Philippians 4:13 says, "For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength" (NLT).

Another important Scripture in Petrine epistles reads, "By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence" (2 Peter 1:3 NLT). Beloved, His divine power has given us access to everything we need to experience life and to reflect God's true nature through His gained accurate knowledge. So God's ultimate power provides a great deal of benefits for us, His children.

Have you now seen why we urge and persuade people to be born again, so as to receive this power in order to experience abundant life in Christ Jesus? Hear me, no matter where you belong to, or the position you occupy in this world, you have zero or no power if you haven't received Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord. This is because I know that power belongs to God. To that effect, 1st Chronicles 29:11 reads, "Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendour, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all" (NIV).

Furthermore, in 2nd Chronicles 20:5-6, Jehoshaphat prayed: "O Lord God of our ancestors, you are the God who lives in heaven and rules over all the kingdoms of the nations. You possess strength and power; no one can stand against you" (NET). Even within nature and the most preferred nature scenes, all natural settings contain revealed mystery of the power of God. To that effect, Romans 1:20 reads, "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse" (NIV). Stay tuned for part 7. Shalom!

Scripture Reading - Hebrews 1:3; Colossians 1:11; Hebrews 3:20-21; Revelation 11:17.

Exuberant Declaration: I have no atom of doubt that the mystery of divine power and nature bigly at work in me, has supplied me with direct cognitive advantage and all-round benefits that have no equal. Praise God!
