SEE YOURSELF AS THE NOMINEE FOR GOD'S CARE

A nominee is usually a person nominated as a candidate for honour, an award, or preferential treatment. When you are in tune with God's will for your life, you easily position yourself as the right candidate for divine care. And that means, God's honour, favour, and preferential treatment will be directed well toward you, because His 'perfect will' has nominated and announced you for such uncommon benefits and entitlements.

Reference: Luke 4:25-27 Modern English Version (MEV)

'But I tell you truthfully, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heavens were closed for three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land. Yet to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath, a city of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet. But none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian.'

According to our referenced Scripture, Jesus reminded us of 'divine preferential care' with two startling examples - the widow of Zarephath and Naaman. Both of these people were non-Israelites, and one was the leader outside Israel - yet God's care nominated and selected them from the midst of others having the same issues and even located them from afar.

Beloved, there is a huge difference between running after benefactors and when heaven's favour has nominated and located you. When its God favour locating you, it makes no difference where you are situated, how you look, what your circumstances dictate, or who does not like you, you'll surely experience a great transformation in your life. That's what the Psalmist meant when He said, 'Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life...'(Psalm 23:6 NLT). Not just follow, but pursue. Instead of pursuing them, those favours will demand for you.

When you are nominated for divine preferential treatment, God does not mind suspending the laws of creation to favour you. You will suddenly become an important person anywhere you are. As a candidate of divine award, God can cause anybody to favour and reward you with His goodness. Just in one encounter with Elijah, the widow of Zarephath, about to prapare a last meal with her son, experienced a great transformation because the Lord nominated her for divine care. Her jar of flour was not used up and her jug of oil refused to run dry, until famine ended. As a nominee of God's care, she received consistent divine supply and her life changed in the process.

Divine nomination is what makes your destined helpers lose their sleep until they come to your aid. David was just an irrelevant shepherd boy by the backside of the bush, but within few hours, he was nominated by divine favour, and anointed as King over Israel; thus his life changed. Notice that in the story, God said to Samuel, 'I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.' Jesse had seven of his great sons pass before Samuel, but Samuel said to him, "The Lord has not chosen these." So he asked Jesse, "Are these all the sons you have?" "There is still the youngest," Jesse answered. "He is tending the sheep." Samuel said, "Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives" (1 Samuel 16:10-12 NIV).

Consider this statement thoughtfully: God bypassed the well abled sons that mattered, and nominated the bush boy. And they all had to stand up till the bush boy arrived. Then the Lord said, "Rise and anoint him; this is the one." It did not just end there. From that day on, the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David. Indeed, divine nomination is what makes everything about any man to stand out. It positions you for generous treatment from God and makes you desirable and preferable! It grants you respect and honour before men. For instance, when God's favour comes upon a barren woman, all her wasted years in tears would be compensated for gains. All of a sudden, her pregnancy will crop up and surface. People who disregarded and despised her will suddenly change their confession. You just know it is the Lord's doing; the handiwork and signature of the Almighty God we serve.

Guided Prayer:

Thank you, my precious Father in heaven, for nominating me as the right candidate for divine care and favour. Your nomination has offered me supernatural assistance to become uniquely blessed and supremely favoured in life, anywhere I go. I honour you today for decorating my life with custom-made favours, for sealing the packages with your goodness, and for signing them with divine autographs, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
