In part 6 of this wonderful topic, I reportedly mentioned that God's salvation is known as Christ, which is versified in Acts 4:12 and it reads, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved" (NIV).
Moreover the doctrine of salvation in Christ provides an all-encompassing overview or knowledge of MANIFOLD saving influence from above, which entails all the benefits of salvation, and particularly, we are focused on the Spirit of long life, a specific benefit of salvation, which can become an activated function of law of the Spirit of life in Christ. "Ears that hear and eyes that see— the LORD has made them both."
Through the acuteness of your optic perception, God will always show you His salvation, namely Christ, and notably, the mystery of His salvation is usually expressed in three dimensions - the way, the truth and the life. This is because you have been made free from the law of sin and death through the finished work of Christ. Anyone found in Christ, who will live long here on earth, will always be shown the way, the truth and life.
Beloved, Supreme Deity meant serious business when He said, "I'll fill you full with old age. I'll show you my salvation" (Psalm 91:16 CEB). And again, salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved" (NIV). Now notice the prepositional phrase, introducing a relative clause, "by which we must be saved." The keyword in the clause fragment is "save" which implies the name brand "Sozo" in Greek word study.
Sozo has a great or vast comprehensive interpretation, and it is mainly defined as rescuing one from great peril and terminal influences, both spiritually and physically. So a careful attentiveness in understanding the Greek word, "Sozo" will make a whole lot of difference in this teaching exposition, because the word provides accurate guidance and empowerment in the assurance of panoramic or wide-ranging salvation from Supreme Deity.
In a vast contextualised significance, Sozo's indication entails the preservation of spiritual and physical life on earth, which actively demonstrates the infinite verb phrases such as - to protect, to keep alive, to preserve life, to deliver, to heal, and to be made whole. Hence, the Greek term, "Sozo" doesn't just refer to salvation of soul in spiritual sense, as in Christ saving a man from the bondage of sinful nature, it also refers to the preservation of earthly life, ensuring absolute longevity [long life] on earth. Got it?
Furthermore, in accordance with my thorough detailed analyses, Sozo is considered as a term used in Biblical texts with three major diverse interpretations rooted in varied contexts, namely:
1. Spiritual salvation (Romans 10:9-10 NIV).
2. Rescue of one's earthly life from any kind of terminal danger, imminent peril or physical death (Matthew 14:30 NIV).
3. Deliverance from demonic possession and physical healing from sickness and disease (Luke 6:6-9; Luke 4:41 NIV).
Having mentioned the above diversified inference regarding my "sozo" analyses in varied Scriptural contexts, the earnest commendable key points of "being saved" as noted by Peter in Acts 4:12, can refer to receiving eternal Salvation, adequate rescue from physical danger, saving a person's earthly life from death, preserving someone's life from going out of existence and keeping someone or something in a state of being safe and sound, which is far from harm - for "long life" purpose. In my literally summarized "mentally put together" construction, an assurance of long life and absolute dominion over spiritual and physical death is found in Christ Jesus, through the growing and practical knowledge of His Deity, for in Him we live, move and have our superior being (Acts 17:28 NIV).
