JUNE 2021: MONTH OF UNQUESTIONABLE DOMINION

Daniel 7: 14
"And to Him was given dominion,
Glory and a kingdom,
That all the peoples, nations and men of every language
Might serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion
Which will not pass away;
And His kingdom is one
Which will not be destroyed."
Beloved, we have been engraved on the surface of extraordinary dominion of Christ. In another way, in Christ, we were engrafted into a life of unquestionable dominion and this is an everlasting dominion that can never fade away.
The Bible says, "As Jesus is, so are we in this world" (1 John 4:17). So His dominion and authority were bequeathed to us. This is because in Ephesians 2:6 (NIV), God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
We have the official authority to exercise unquestionable dominion on earth. Also in Paul's prayer for spiritual wisdom, He added:
"I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honour at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else - not only in this world but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church" (Ephesians 1:19-21 NLT).
For me, this prayer makes another full article and session of teaching. However note that Christ is placed far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else - not only in this world but also in the world to come. And God put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church.
Since God did this for the benefit of the church, what does this mean for me and for you? It means that being seated with Christ in the place of honour at God’s right hand, we are equally placed far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else - not only in this world but also in the world to come. God put all things under the authority of Christ, which is now bequeathed to us. God also made us head over all things, just like He planned from the very beginning (see Genesis 1:26) and its much more than He had in mind before, because at this time, He raised us together with His Son, Christ, and made us anew in Him, unlike Adam, and now, we are a brand new creation.
From today, what are you going to do? Start exercising your dominion whenever and wherever its needful -from the standpoint of victory and rest - and surely, you'll always remain victorious. Shalom!
