JESUS IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS - PART 1
MONDAY 18 OCTOBER 2021
The Bible tells us that Jesus is coming with joy in the sky. Then all who are faithful shall meet Him by flying heaven-ward without the aid of any aircraft. Both heaven and nature will be shaken. Imagine that all of the dead shall rise again and the league of the righteous shall gather in the sky to meet Christ, all headed for heaven with Him, a destination without sorrow and trouble. I believe its going to be an interesting day, especially to watch the dead flying out of their grave like a bird.

Reference: Mark 13:25-27 New King James Version (NKJV) "The stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven."
According to the above Scripture, it is certain that one day, we are going to be disconnected from this world and travel upward with a sense of wonder and awe to meet the King of kings and the Lord of lords in the air. The golden news is that Christ is coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Before He was taken up into heaven, the disciples gathered around Him and asked Him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"
Jesus said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
After He said this, He was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid Him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. '"Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven."' (see Acts 1:6-11).
Beloved, sometimes you hear some Christians who have long-practised their Christian faith, completely at home with everything the Word represents and open in professing their faith, still wonder if Christ's return is truly going to happen, having been a general Christian topic over the years. The doubt is unnecessary because the Word does not fail. Its simple - though Jesus tarries, we must continue to trust in His name, live for Him and thus be ready.
In all our endeavours, we must function as though Christ is coming in the next thousand years, but in regard to our faith walk, we must deliberately live godly and justly as though He is coming back this very moment. By this I mean, as you keep investing, for instance, your money, or keep making your plans, or keep serving your purpose, do it with a mindset that even if Christ tarries, you're busy, fruitful and productive, making things happen in your world but at the same time, live ready and a worthy Christian life as though He is coming back today. Stay tuned for part 2. Shalom!

Guided Prayer: Dear Father in heaven, I honour you for the glorious assurance of the truth that Christ is coming back for the saints. Thank you for the promise that you'll never leave me nor forsake me until Jesus comes in the clouds with great power and glory to take me to heaven. By the inward conviction of the Holy Spirit bearing witness that I'm yours in Christ, I live ready and prosperous, and I stay active in faith, by upholding your Word through constant practice and your enabling grace in Jesus' Name, Amen!
