GOD'S GRACE AND GUIDANCE

THURSDAY 16 MARCH 2023

In life, no matter how blessed and successful you are, you'll never get to a point when or where you no longer need God's grace and guidance. The sooner you embrace this truth, the better off you'll be. No matter who or where you are in life, you'll continually desire to achieve more. And there'll always be that greater height to attain in any field of life. However, all you need for more is abundant grace and divine guidance.

Reference: James 4:6 New International Version (NIV) "But he gives us more grace."

The next level of any career, vocation or calling is within reach as you take advantage of God's grace and guidance to keep fulfilling your glorious destiny in Christ. As Christians, we must never tend to think of grace as what we only need to get saved, because grace is much more than just how we come to Christ. In fact, our entire Christian walk is fueled by the grace of God. That means, everything about our Christian faith is sustained by His grace.

The Spirit of God admonished us through the Apostle Paul to take advantage of the grace of God that is surplus in Christ Jesus. In 2nd Timothy 2:1(NASB), Paul says to Timothy, "You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus." You may ask, "How do I take advantage of God's grace to achieve more?" For you to freely take advantage of this grace in your life, you have to simply believe and receive everything Jesus did for you by faith and with a child-like attitude.

Romans 5:17 (KJV) reads, "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." Did you notice that the Scripture doesn't say, "…they which have been given abundance of grace" but, '…they which receive abundance of grace…'? In other words, there is no challenge from the "supply" end, but, from the "receiving" side.

As you receive more grace, you position yourself to walk in the right direction, which requires divine guidance. This is the reason nothing is more important in this life than being led by God. In fact, understand that you're such a blessed person in Christ because God has a glorious plan and purpose for you. So when you're unsure of the right direction, or the right decision to make, speak to God with all your heart, and refuse to rely on your own understanding. Commit to acknowledging Him in all your ways, and let Him know that you trust His guidance, by acting accordingly (see Isaiah 42:16 ESV).

Psalm 25:9 (CSB) says, "He leads the humble in what is right and teaches them his way." It doesn't get any better than this! Therefore hold on to God's grace and guidance and they'll take you places you could never imagine, bearing in mind that you're unstoppable in this present life.

Scripture Reading - Genesis 6:8; Psalm 25:4-5; Proverbs 3:5-6; John 16:13.

Exuberant Declaration: I operate by abundance of grace and divine guidance every now and then because I've put my trust and confidence in God. The Lord is my personal guide, and by His Spirit, He directs me in all my ways, thereby empowering me to function with uncommon grace for divine elevation, greater heights, lasting promotions and uncommon opportunities. Glory to God!
