DIVINE RESCUE
Today we are going to look at two kingdoms, which are opposites. They are the Kingdom of light and the Kingdom of darkness. Just as light and darkness have nothing in common, and good and evil are opposed to each other, so is the Kingdom of light and that of darkness. All the more, "divine rescue" is a term I use for dragging a person out of the jaws of death or to be more specific, snatching them from the Kingdom of darkness.

Reference: Colossians 1:13-14 New Living Translation (NLT) "For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins."
God has rescued every born again Christian from the Kingdom of darkness. In other words, He delivered us from death unto life. "Kingdom" is from the Greek word, basileia, which can be translated as "power, authority, sovereignty, rule, or strength." It is the realm in which a king sovereignly rules. A kingdom always requires a king. The kingdom of darkness is run by Satan, just as the kingdom of God does with King Jesus. As long as you belong to the Kingdom of light, Satan can't rule your life anymore; He is illegal in any area of your life because you've been rescued from his domain and you now belong to a superior domain.
God's plan is to extend His heavenly Kingdom on earth through the system of rescue known as salvation. And Jesus is the One, who paid for or purchased our freedom from the power of darkness and forgave our sins. Through His sacrifice, God provided a means for us to be forgiven and rescued. When God rescues a Christian from the kingdom of darkness, which denotes the power of sin and death, He transfers him to the His own Kingdom of light. As a result, we've become God's representatives in the seen world, thereby functioning in the invisible Kingdom of His dear Son, Jesus Christ.
In the Kingdom of light, we are sons, citizens and ambassadors for Christ and heaven. As sons, the Bible says, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12 KJV). As citizens, the Bible says, "But we are citizens of the Kingdom, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives..." (Philippians 3:20 NLT). As ambassadors, the Bible says, "So we are Christ's ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God" (2 Corinthians 5:20 NLT).
As sons in the Kingdom, we are kings and priests unto our heavenly Father (Revelation 1:6). As ambassadors, we represent the Kingdom of His dear Son, Jesus, here on earth, and as citizens, we run His government. And our strategy is to rule the physical realm from the unseen realm. Thus every born again Christian is a spiritual entity living in a physical body and functioning in the earth realm, with a superior government, which refers to the rule of Christ in their hearts. The Holy Spirit is the governor of this government and inside every Christian is a dominion mandate to establish and execute this government in the physical earth. Therefore recognise your mandate and function accordingly.
Scripture Reading - Isaiah 9:6-7; John 5:24; Romans 8:1-2; 1 Thessalonians 5:9.
Exuberant Declaration: I'm born of God and I'm initiated into fraternal union of the God-class, well established in the Kingdom of light. I am a son of the light and son of the day. I do not belong to the night or to the darkness. By functioning with kingdom mandate, I experience daily the supernatural release and influence of the Spirit of God in my life and in all that I do. Thus, my life is filled with the glory of God and I live a victorious life everyday as more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
