CHRIST, THE HIGHEST POSITION - PART 2
THURSDAY 30 DECEMBER 2021
Identifying with your position in Christ is crucial to living a glorious life of victory, dominion and success in the earth realm. It establishes your sense of belonging in Christ because God desires that all His children sustains the mind of Christ, thereby developing the consciousness of high level insight into the realm where Christ is. When we acknowledge Christ as the highest position in the spiritual realm and operate in that frequency, our perspicacity of spiritual realities will soar to heights of remarkable wisdom from above and in turn, will propel us to function accordingly on earth.

Reference: Hebrews 1:3 GOD'S WORD® Translation (GW) "His Son is the reflection of God's glory and the exact likeness of God's being. He holds everything together through his powerful words. After he had cleansed people from their sins, he received the highest position, the one next to the Father in heaven."
When you observe the rendering, "His Son is the reflection of God's glory and the exact likeness of God's being", it simply means that God revealed Himself in Christ. Full stop! By doing so, He gave us Christ, who received the highest position in heavenly realms after fulfilling divine purpose on earth. So when God wanted to guarantee that His promises have been fulfilled, He gave us the Word, which is a rock-solid guarantee of all He promised because nothing can break the Word. Instead, everything we require for the Christian life is sourced from it, and all pertaining our existence can be held together through the powerful Word of God.
When Christ died for us and God resurrected Him, spiritually we died with Him and were equally resurrected from the "realm of spiritual death" which denotes the former state, in which we were separated from God. Now, as the saints in Christ, we are forever alive to God because our sinful nature has been eradicated! Christ destroyed this nature on the cross, erased the effects—our sins, and then He deleted it all, such that they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam was nailed to the cross permanently as a public display of cancellation. Now watch this: After Christ had done a perfect job on behalf of mankind in regard to their sins - through His perfect sacrifice, He received the highest position, the one next to the Father in heaven.
Now having been raised with Christ according to Ephesians 2:6 (NLT), we have an unquestionable access to the very presence of God where Jesus, ran on ahead of us, to take up His permanent position and supreme authority - as high priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek. So what should be our response as Christians? In the natural realm, we must live as those made alive in Christ Jesus. How? Colossians 3:1-3 says, "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God" (NIV).
Beloved be mindful of your highest position because you exist and function in the realm called "Christ". And here is how to function successfully in this position: Firstly, develop the mindset that you have no business with Adamic nature because Jesus Christ dealt with that nature and nailed it to the cross once for all. Secondly, Just as the very Word, Christ, from eternity was made flesh and became a vessel for His Father's expression on earth, so are you in this world - as long as you are born again. Although Christ became a separate entity to die for our sins, He is not a separate Deity, aside God. He is fully God and He doesn't function independently; for Christ and God are an inseparable Deity. Colossians 2:9 says, "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form" (NIV).
As a result, the life of Christ on earth was the vehicle of God's expression and manifestations because He embodied the fullness of God in human flesh. The same way, Christ is your life now, for you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). In fact, Pauline epistolary expression in Galatians 2:20 transmits a sharp-witted interpretation because it does much, in sum and in clarity, to extract and to add a flavour of this truth and intense tone of the communication to our understanding. It reads, "I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me" (AMP). Stay tuned for part 3 of this topic. Shalom!
Scripture Reading - Mark 16:19; Luke 22:69; Ephesians 1:20; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 12:2.
Exuberant Declaration: My life on earth is the epitome and exemplar of God's glory revealed in the Word. Hence, I'm a mystery to the natural man because I live and function with the right and clearest view of my identity in Christ Jesus, which is essential and indispensable to the mindset of the Just. Nothing in this world limits my position in Christ, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven. Hallelujah!
