CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE:SEE YOURSELF AS GOD SEES YOU
THURSDAY 28 JULY 2022
Perspective simply means a particular way or pattern of thinking, frame of reference or attitude of a person in relation to interpreting any view according to their perception. Our perspective in life is very important because it influences our beliefs, actions and experiences, to a great extent. So it matters how we reason and see things because it will definitely determine the kind of results we have in life.

Reference: Exodus 4:11-13 Berean Study Bible (BSB) 'And the LORD said to him, "Who gave man his mouth? Or who makes him mute or deaf, sighted or blind? Is it not I, the LORD? Now go! I will help you as you speak, and I will teach you what to say." But Moses replied, "Please, Lord, send someone else."'
One of the major tactics of the enemy is to keep you far from embracing who you are in Christ and from walking in the light of your position or authority. As long as you think you're not worthy or good enough, that's a wrong perspective and the devil will keep you in bondage. But once you get the right revelation of who you really are and start seeing yourself that way, your days of limitations and defeat are over and the devil is in trouble. Why? This is because the most powerful person on earth is that Christian that knows who he/she is in Christ.
Understand this truth: the very moment you became born again, God made you a champion, a victor, a blessing, a powerful new creature, and - more than a conqueror in Christ. You completely became as Christ is because your spirit was recreated after His image and so, you have been designed to function like God in true righteousness and holiness. Now, there's a huge difference between who you were before, and who you are, now that you've received Christ as Lord (see 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV).
The person before had the nature of the devil, therefore he sinned at will. But that nature is dead! Right now, you're a brand new person because as the new creature, you now exist with divine nature. When you understand this and grasp who you really are in Christ, such statement as, 'When I used to do…' or 'I'm not good enough' or 'I can't achieve this…' will completely exit your vocabulary because it's no longer your reality.
Moses didn't initially see himself as God saw him, as the deliverer of God's people. In fact, Moses angered the Lord when he asked Him to send someone else. His refusal to see himself as God saw him and declared him to be, created a big problem. God had to appoint Aaron to support Moses (Exodus 4:14 NIV), which of course, resulted in some kind of trouble later on. However, the moment Moses began to see himself as who God had really made him to be, he took his place in God's plan and excelled as a great and powerful leader of God's people.
Refuse to minimize the impact of the divine nature in you and kindly embrace your true identity in Christ which is a life-changing perspective. Christ lives in you now - your present moment reality. Therefore never let the enemy's tactics of manipulating people's mindset, keep you in bondage one more day. Start seeing and talking differently! You are well able to do and excel in everything God has called you to do. You can accomplish great tasks and prosper in your endeavours (Philippians 4:13 NKJV), because He has made you a powerful creation in Christ. You are a saint; wise and blessed beyond measure, a champion, a perpetual victor, a heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ and His ability is working hugely in you. Shalom!
Scripture Reading - Romans 8:37; Philippians 2:5; Ephesians 4:1; 1 Peter 2:9.
Exuberant Declaration: I boldly declare that I am who God says I am and I cast down every imagination, every contrary idea and every negative perception that stand to oppose or contradict the mind of Christ and my identity in Him. I am superior to the devil and all his schemes; therefore, his tactics of suggesting inferior thoughts can never keep me bound in the mind realm because I function with the mind of Christ. I am active as a champion, a victor, an achiever, and a bundle of success in Christ and these verities are my everyday experience. Glory to God!
