MONTH OF INNER COUNSEL

(John 16:13 NLT): When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

There are many types of counsel and all of them are important in life, as long as they are coming from the right sources and are able to yield their desired and specific results in different areas of life. But the counsel I'm authorised and mandated to talk about is inner counsel. . Counsel is the Hebrew word, ‘etsah', which means: advice, plan, advisement, counsel, purpose, strategy.

Counsel is also the Greek word, 'boulé', which means: instruction, or deliberate advice.

Definition: The Inner counsel of God is a discerned guidance, instruction or guideline sourced from His properly arranged and resolved plan for you, purposefully designed to guarantee and propel every scene of your life to work in line with His eternal purpose.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT OF COUNSEL

Inner counsel is divine counsel and its from above, supplied by the Holy Spirit from time to time, if you're in intimate partnership with Him. Since its from above, its not sensual, earthly or natural, its a wise counsel. It grants you easy access to supernatural solutions, fruitfulness and benefits. Inner counsel empowers you to flow in accordance with your divine purpose and positions you to walk in the ordinances of your glorious destiny in Christ. It has the capacity to level out challenges, produce favourable solutions for you, and grant you the advantage in any area of your life.

Make no mistakes about it: Just because you are a Child of God does not mean you are going to fulfil God's plan for your life. It's not automatic. There are vital information along this line which can only be sourced from your inward man, as you walk with the precious Holy Spirit. However, the demanding part is that you are the one to source that inner counsel. Its your responsibility.

The Holy Spirit is there to grant you access to such information or instructions but its totally up to you to walk in tune with Him or cooperate with His leadings to access the inner counsels, designed to move you forward ever. To be able to source or have access to divine counsel, you must be prepared to learn and work with the principles of the kingdom and make the Holy Spirit your main counsellor and best friend. In that line, here's what to know about the Holy Spirit and how He administers His counsel:

The Impact of the Holy Spirit's counsel in our lives -

God’s Holy Spirit in us, as Christians, is our greatest gift from God. When we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, we receive the gift and the giver, because the gift Himself is the giver and the distributor of our Kingdom benefits. The Holy Spirit unites us with God, such that we enjoy inseparable oneness with divinity. He is our source of communication from God. He is the guarantee that we are God's children. Romans 8:16 records that the Holy Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.

When we walk in obedience to the Holy Spirit, we will often experience His inner counsel which grants us joy and peace and brings us to function accurately in the level of God's plan. The Bible also admonishes us that since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit's leading in every part of our lives (Galatians 5:25 NLT). The only limitation to hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit in you and discerning His inner counsel effectively, is you. John 3:34 says, 'For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. To hear Him clearly and follow His inner counsel, give yourself to the Word of God this month of April, like never before. Give yourself to speaking in tongues more this very month. You can't miss His counsel on the inside at any given time, if you continually pray in the spirit.

Jude 20 (NLT), reads, 'But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit.' By doing this often, His inner counsel will become clearer to us and such counsel allows us to judge rightly what we should do in any given circumstance. This inner counsel transcends head knowledge, because it empowers us to make accurate judgements promptly, by a sort of supernatural astute. So when we are in sync with the Spirit of God, we respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit by a blink. That way, we walk by His inner counsel, thereby fulfilling His dictates, in compliance with God's perfect will for our lives.
