ACKNOWLEDGE THAT GOD IS FIRST AND FOREMOST

Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV) "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

You don't put God first in your life. That's an insult because you don't have the right to do so. He is THE FIRST even before the you were born and before the foundations of this earth were laid. Nobody put Him there because nobody made Him and for this reason, nobody can promote or demote Him.

You just have to acknowledge that He is first in everything. "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End" (Revelation 22:13 NIV).

Now, If you miss the acknowledgement in anything you do or get involved in, it is to your disadvantage.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation (Colossians 1:15 NLT).
